  • Michelle Anderson, founder of Clarinet Mentors (www.learnclarinetnow.com), presents a clarinet lesson on how to train your fingers to move more easily and smoothly on the clarinet. This lesson will help you to play legato lines more easily, and ultimately, improve finger shape and movement to help you play faster as well.

73 year old, returning to the clarinet after 50 years of only sax and flute. Thanks for posting valuable didactic topics on the instrument.

Thank you so much for your excellent ideas! I am just relearning playing the clarinet with your help. I enjoy every video you share with us. Even an elder person like me can learn this wonderful instrument. Many thanks from Maria from Hungary

labyrinthsparkles I have some courses available, and you can find information through my newsletters at www.learnclarinetnow.com. Occasionally I offer other lesson situations, and that would also be mentioned in the newsletter. My schedule is pretty full, but sometimes I have time to teach online.

What kind of clarinet do you have?

It doesn't look like a Buffet, maybe a Selmer Paris or Yamaha?

I don't want faster fingers. I want clean fingering, especially when I must coordinate both hands.
