Great video. Excellent breakdown of what and why you have done it that way. Gave me a bunch of ideas. Thank you.

Really nice ! I’m a field mechanic , so those plastic pegs are good for in your box in a shop , but off road bouncing around they didn’t last . I wanted to make something almost exact to this but in metal and can’t afford the WM ones .. I didn’t in the end due to weight. I wonder how these would hold up in my application. I may have to try it out… much respect very very well thought out. every little detail thought about and designed around .. I would hire you for a project . attention to detail spacing, forethought on what material to use, the way you were efficient with the labeling and placement to not block labels etc .. really appreciate how much went into these man good work

Dowels! (slaps forehead) Genius my man! I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. Find someone with a laser engraver for your labels. Thanks for sharing!

Very good. I have the Westling Machine trays and LOVE them, but ran into a lot of the same issues. I bought the Tekton sets and then all the Grey Pnumatic impact sets to 36mm, and just can't find a good solution. It's crazy. I bought a couple of Ernst rails to mess with, and they're pretty good, but the extra step of twisting seems like a pain after being used to the Westlings. Also, after loading up the Ernst to see how I liked them, within just a few minutes I was trying to twist other types of rails and then forgot I had to twist the Ernst... so they really do have to be all the same system. The only thing I would suggest for you is to put the larger sizes to the back of your drawer instead of the front. I think you'll find the drawer will work better and have less torsion on the drawer slides with all the weight. I'm like you where I buy all the sizes to be prepared for whatever, but my reality is that I only need up to 19 plus a couple. It's rediculous.
