For safety, may I suggest you follow this order: assemble the craft WITHOUT propellers, power on the controller, mobile device or monitor before you power up the craft. This ensures there is a control signal present before the craft turns on. Turn on the aircraft so there is a connection and then you can check for updates, test motors, battery levels, signal strength, all of your pre-flight checks before take-off. Then put the props on LAST (Make sure you inspect them too! ) This is so the props don’t spin up accidentally while all of this other stuff is going on. Trust me.. I know from experience 🤓 The Matrice system you have here is the creme de la creme so I doubt you would have any issues. Nevertheless, this is good practice for all drones and RC aircraft. Congratulations on your Matrice! 😎
Magnifly Vids Hi, It should just be as simple as I described in the video however you will need to take care to ensure it is aligned correctly as we had trouble with the pins inside becoming bent. We now keep the adapter attached to the XT thermal camera permanently to avoid damage. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot for the reply. I can actually connect the XT thermal camera to the adapter quite easily, my problem is connecting the adapter to the aircraft. It just doesn't seem to connect and it should be a simple twist as far as I know.
Magnifly Vids That's strange, have you tried connecting just the adapter to the aircraft? (It will only fit one way) I'm not sure how many different adapters there are, maybe you have the wrong one? Is it a genuine DJI adapter?
Yes, it's the official adapter. I have tried just the adapter without the XT but still no luck. I might have to purchase a new one, possibly faulty because I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work.
Magnifly Vids Very strange? Sorry I can't offer any more help. Be interesting to know how you get on with it. Thanks again for watching, I subbed your channel.
What's your main mission for the Matrice? I see both the XT and Z30 I'm curious as to how resilient it is against EMI and water.. Have you been able to test?
It will mainly used for search & rescue, fire incidents and public order events by the police & fire service. I personally haven't had much of a chance to test it out fully as yet.
lol so u did a review of not your's/company's that u work for drone hahahahah My roommate got gas mask for his job, he's Spray artist and when i got in the hause i saw him shirtless with gas mask holding a laptop in the bed... it was weird experiance

Hi, great Video. I'm finding it hard to connect the Zenmuse XT gimbal adapter to my M210. Could you share any tips on this?

What's the cost of that exact setup? I'm very interested in it, looking for the thermal camera as well
Hello from Vietnam😉
Hi, great video. Did you manage to get all 3 cameras (z30, xt AND fpv) to work at the same time??
norbku No, not as yet, hopefully DJI pilot will soon support all 3 cameras. Thanks for watching 👍
Could you use it with 2 cameras and only one battery?
Caca Nakagi I guess it would fly on one battery with both cameras if it needed to, however I would want to try it!
