I have been binge watching all of Saddleback Church sermons. Due to having an autoimmune disease I can’t go to church at this time BUT I tell you these sermons have made an impact in my life. Feeling blessed to be able to watch/listen to them. God is good! Thank God for putting Pastor Rick in our life.

This answered so many questions I've had about prayer. I'm an old believer, but really didn't have a relationship with my father until about a month ago. He allowed tragedy in my life as a wake up call and boy, did HE get my attention. But I know now it is because He loves me and wants to save me from myself. In my new prayer relationship, I'm so overtly emotional that very often, after addressing my father, all I can do is weep. I weep because of the heartache of my loss, because I am humbled before him, because of my fear of the unstable life I have here on earth, because of Jesus enormous sacrifice and, even though I'm told I'm forgiven, I weep for all the things I did wrong, for putting God on the back burner of my life and the hope that Good will still find me worthy. Often, I can't even speak because I'm so emotional and I feel like God won't know what I'm trying to say, because I don't know how to even verbalize all the emotions that well up in me when I come before him. So, thank you, Rick, for this clear explanation and for letting me know that even when I don't have the words, God knows my prayers. Thank you for being His servant and a vessel for His word and teachings. I love you and appreciate you so very much!

Do you believe that because God is multidimensional and is present in the past, present with me now and will be present with me in the future that I can pray about things outside my time line? Such as asking for blessings on someone through out the course of their life because of the impact they have now and pray that their impact is compounded into the future. Or may I ask for God to change the outcome of a tragedy that has already occurred?
In John 17 Jesus prayed for those who would believe! I prayed a lot for my daughter, for times and events that would happen in her life as she would grow up. The Father has allowed me to live long enough to see many of those prayers answered, in much greater ways than I ever dreamed.
The Holy Eucharist is not symbolic. Jesus is very clear when he says, "...And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This IS my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup IS the new covenant in my blood , which is poured out for you." Luke 22:19-20. Holy communion isn't a representation of the the Last Supper, it is the Last Supper.
i eat clean, then fast, i forgive everyone. I feel the emotion of gratitude & joy ( high frequency) and I get into shower and call on God Jesus & and Holy Spirit to use the power of water, air, earth, & sun light fire❤ to bind, rebuke, & cast out any dark, dense, negative thoughts, energies, contracts, & entities out of my body, mind, spirit, out of my experiences, environment, existence 🎉❤ let me act like a 5D angel and not a 3D demon in the way i treat myself & others. Help! Why do most preachers use holy Ghost instead of holy Spirit. . What I know, that God is the spirit but why they use holy ghost. Is it a form of false doctrine???
Mutuwa Janati that's a good question. It is referring to the same thing, the spirit of Christ. In the KJV version of the Bible it says Holy Ghost, and the American Standard version it says Holy Spirit . It's just the translation of the Bible that they are preaching from or what they are accustomed to as to whether they say Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost.
My dear I don't agree. If u site out the word "ghost"it a "dead spirit" and when the spirit die that's depart from human body it becomes a demon.Our God is aspirit and it's written that those who worship him MUST worship HIM in spirit. So if u say ghost, thus it sound godly? Be alert. They are false Bible's and preachers. Take knee in reading the Bible which has " holy ghost" most of the Bible verses are missing. Here's something I don't get if someone can help me out but we as people like to say God and Jesus are technically the same person they say God is Jesus in the flesh but to me wouldn't that be saying that God and the Bible are lying when they say Jesus is his son?
