The more unaffordable housing becomes the more rampant squatting will become, doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.
Prosecute with felonies. Give them long sentences, and huge fines.
So the taxpayers can pay to house them? If and when they're incarcerated, they become the taxpayers responsibility.

The county needs to make it law to verify with county records dept. Who property owner is first and have property owner sign off at county before lease can be notarized and confirmed by the records division. Any lease other than that is a fraud and punishable to a year in jail. Now the criminals squatters won't need a place to stay if they in jail. I need to speak to the law makers in ga. They need to use this idea.
It's become a nationwide issue because housing has become so expensive. I'm not saying that it is right, just that people are becoming desperate

You fell for the scam doesn’t make it the home owners problem,if an agent or home owner didn’t show you the house in person in and out then It’s a possible scam. Bigger scam is your squatting,I’d I’d claim all your belongings keep and sell them for whatever I can get for some type of compensation, if it don’t sell I’d give it away just to show them how it feels when someone takes advantage of you and now your a victim too.

Just search squatters and you'll see other races doing the same thing. The biggest one was the woman that got arrested for changing her own lock in New York from a non-black squatter. He eventually got arrested.
But no not all squatters are black but also taking advantage knowingly.
