I don’t mind Deku’s arms being healed at all. Deku saved Eri by putting his very life on the line, now she’s putting herself on the line for him. As friends, they’ve got each other’s backs. This is the kind of story Horikoshi has always been trying to write, that REAL, strong friendship can overcome all trials no matter how terrible. Even the delay in rewinding Deku’s arms serves a purpose- Deku needs to rely on all the friends and allies he’s made throughout the story, because even if they’re weaker and can’t defeat AFO, without them he’d never be able to do it either.
Kurogri was programmed to act as Shigaraki's guardian and assistant. Not to mention, with Shirakumo's personality revealed to the kind of person That would take in a stray kitten. It makes sense that Kurogri would do whatever is necessary to protect Shigaraki. Even if it means helping the Heroes, whether or not Shirakumo comes back.
I mean honestly…no I don’t think this was a fake out, Eri was the final shot in a couple of chapters back and for a while she’s been working on her quirk outside the main story, so to me this wasn’t as much a obvious plot point but more gearing up for this moment, like realistically it was either Deku either goes on fighting using shoot style against AFO or Eri comes in and rewinds his arms back. So honestly if anyone were to get upset then they clearly missed the plot that being set up for this to happen.
I mean, you're right, it was set up. But it still feels cheap. Like Deku lost his arms fighting the final boss then literally next chapter, bam, got them back. May as well not lost them at all because what was the point? Bro didn't even fight AFO armless. The writer did this for cheap drama. The problem is when we get down to it, Eri is a literal walking and talking deus ex machina thanks to her quirk. Like I literally called it that Deku was gonna get his arms back thanks to Eri and I'm a little disappointed that I was right. But oh well, based on what happened, I doubt we'll get another cop-out like that again.

2:05 Thinking about it from this angle, AFO’s statement makes sense. The various Quirks of the previous OFA users are only as powerful as they are for Deku because they can draw upon the stockpiled power of OFA. That core Quirk belongs to Yoichi, so if he disappears, the other quirks go back to being the unimpressive, weak Quirks they originally were. Thus, they’re useless to AFO.
Well, if Shinomori's Danger Sense goes back to how it was before, then AFO is going to start having crippling headaches because he's going to get attacked from all over. I know the weakened students may not be much of a threat individually, but they're going to make themselves as much of a danger as possible if it means giving Deku a chance to win.
Kurogiri protected Shigaraki for some reason, I don't even think Shigaraki will die. but it would be a very contradictory resource if the power stored in Eri's horn fused with ofa while Deku was rewinding and gave him the ability to rewind/heal any future injuries almost instantly like Shigaraki did with his healing quirk, I mean deku has something ofa
ive seen some people theorize shigarakis original quirk being air walk which you know does make sense as its in a way a direct upgrade to Float and quirks do tend to get stronger as they are passed down
I don't consider this outcome to be cheap by any means. Some of you have probably played Mass Effect and went above and beyond to secure the best outcome for the fight against the Reapers, as well as the secret scene at the end of the Destroy Ending. This is the culmination of Deku's hard work, and he would have been left without arms if it weren't for the fact he EARNED back his arms for all that he's done. None of this is happenstance; he earned the loyalty and camaraderie.
I feel that this is showing that Deku won't just end up like All Might. All Might stood alone- while he was indeed the peak of hero society, there's only so much one man can do alone and he suffered greatly due to being the Symbol of Peace. Class 1-A was able to drag Deku out of that same mindset and now they alongside so many others can give him the support he needs.
Cutting off Eris horn, and her maybe losing her Quirk because of it (my theory) is BRILLIANT. I always worried about Eri healing anyone, cause if she does it for one person, why not do it for the next one and the next one? Heal Enji, heal Dabi. She could literally heal everyone and it would be lame, all sacrifices would feel cheap. Brilliant writing imo I don't mind it, the shocking image of the panel of Deku without arms was enough drama for me personally I just hope Tenko can get some kind of justice :/
Well with what we've been seeing, it does have a limit (rewind), since it's a stockpile based quirk it has the weakness all stockpile powers have, she needs to stockpile energy to use her quirk, and as we read when she wanted to heal all might or bakugo, she couldn't, because they already sustained that damge for too long already, and she doesn't have the stockpile to heal those, sure she can heal most wounds still, but they need to be right by her for her to get the chance, and since she already used most of her stockpile on Mirio to get his quirk back, her ability to rewind damage us already too low to the point where her horn is barely able to heal midoriya's arms
@@zeno-cc4434 That's very true, but I feel like with the warp gate, she could have been there super quick, like an in and out situation. the way rewind was used here, was the horn(which has DNA) was put on one of dekus open wounds. since the afo quirk and ofa quirk kinda got mixed together a bit, deku might get rewind since eri gave the horn to be used on deku knowing she might lose her quirk. I think deku may be able to take rewind if ofa was modified during that mix. The modification might allow deku to take a quirk if the other person willed it, and DNA is transferred. Big if. Lets say deku has rewind even if its almost out of use. Ofa can supercharge quirks that the user has. Since rewind and ofa are both stockpiles, rewind might be able to use ofa as a energy source.
Feel like it had to happen quickly so that Eri's quirk stayed consistent. Either way people were going to complain, manga has been fire recently thanks for the content
2-3 min for Deku to heal doesn’t seem that long but let’s not forget how much happened during the 5 min on Namick or the 30 min of the Toga/Twice flood
This made sense we all know that hirokoshi loves the marvel series so having a bunch of hero’s coming through the portal ready to fight Afo was all ways a possibility and deku getting his hands back so quickly doesn’t matter cause I didn’t see or hear people being angry about how ichigo kept lose and gaining his powers back easily or over a small amount of time y’all just need to stop hating and just sit back relax and enjoy the manga or anime before it ends
I just remembered Deku still has float and transfer because shigaraki rejected shimura and he couldn’t transfer transfer because he wouldn’t be able to pass the abilities to shigaraki without it
Next chapter is going to become another Waiting for Goku situation in which everyone gets to attack AfO before getting squashed. And just when it looks like AfO's attack might kill Deku, who is still a sitting duck, he is stopped by Tenko using Float, which gives Deku just enough time to fully recover and strike back.
Would be cool if the stored power in eri’s horn merged with ofa while deku rewound and gave him the ability to rewind/heal any future injuries almost instantly like shigaraki did with his healing quirk
8:08 I think you got it mixed up. It’s not that Deku will take 2-3 minutes to rewind, it’s that his body will rewind 2-3 minutes back. This is why Aizawa asked how long it has been since he lost his arms, because the horn could only rewind 2-3 minutes. Obviously it’s not going to take 2-3 minutes to rewind, since you can already see Dekus arms taking shape at the end of the chapter.
10:02 like I said in the comment above, he will only be rewinded 2-3 minutes back, so most of the stuff mentioned is false. The only thing that might happen is him getting his quirk back, as we saw Mirio get his “permeation” quirk back because of eris power
In my opinion is that Deku got his arms reminded and got his quirk back in the process as his arms were rewinded it must of obviously rewinded his quirk back into him aswell because I have seen clips of him still fighting , people are saying he lost his quirk, and others are saying he only has one for all and not the built up quirks, and from the newest leaks, he still has his quirk at the moment, so I believe eris horn rewinded Deku back to when he had his quirk and arms, bc when he lost his arms he did lose the built up quirks to, Deku explained to Aizawa he had to give up one for all but then Aizawa priced him with the horn obviously, so it shows Deku must of also got his quirk back in the process he got his arms back
We can't be sure of anything at this point since Horikoshi has been super vague about how the quirks actually incorporate into AFO and OFA (not to mention the whereabouts of the stockpiling quirk's vestige) but OFA getting Eri's rewind vestige through her horn would be the biggest game changer of all (no more permanent damage if it acts in tandem with the stockpiled power). Also, everyone's looking super badass while Kaminari looks derpy as all hell
We see characters from MHA’s anime, MHA’s movies and even Horikoshi’s other works yet we have yet to see any original MHA Vigilantes characters like Koichi appear
idk if he will get a new quirk...but when he was little when he went to the quirk doctor and was told he could not get a quirk i think that his quirk will awaken with Eri's rewind so deku will get his original quirk then someone important will show up in the fight and this person will shock all the heros as an unkown person joined in a fight. or yuichi is gonna be in the fight with afomeaning he has come back just like afo did -this is just a theory i made
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel I love this video and channel Thanks you for your video and channel I love my hero academia all franchise
I clicked on the video hoping to hear about Deku's new quirk power and why it was shocking and I'm pretty disappointed by the non-answer, to be honest.
I think Rewind works kinda like Orihime's powers. It doesn't simply "heal" a certain injury or anything. Instead, it just reverts that specific object into a certain state. In other words, the present event is simply rejected in such a way that it never even happened or occurred in the first place.
Imagine they waited till he lost all his quirks and she rewinded him back to right before the fight and he just kills all for one with him being damaged with the quirk's also inside him.
I feel the arm fix might end up being territory, since it's coming from a cut off horn. A 'quick-fix' if you will, that won't give Deku the same strength and/or durability his previous arms had.
I can accept whats happening in this manga, because when the power of friendship pulls through, its not like fairytail where they get hidden strength and a 3rd or 4th wind completely out of nowhere, its everyone working together, using their quirks to the best of their ability to help deku succeed
anybody else noticed that Deku has robot arms while getting healed? i think the Eri 's broken horn fast forwards Deku to the future instead of rewind ...
Sense i have noticed a lot of naruto references and this obviously a endgame reference it would be awesome if deku has eri quirk and one for all and possibly just my thinking stars and stripes quirk all combining into one he can become so powerful just like how naruto awaken the nine tail fox power and eventually made the other half of the fox into one because if you think about it deku can rewind all the quirk he had and get them back and possibly make them into one also just pointing out that eri quirk lighting color kinda reminds me of the color of naruto yellow fox forme
Would be pretty cool if Deku’s quirk had been stolen as a kid and rewind gave it back to him. Though I guess this probably wouldn’t happened when Eri healed him during the overhaul fight. Still. I think we’ve yet to see the final act of OFA. The individual factors may be gone but it’s possible the core is with deku still. Regardless of where the vestiges are. This could be growth. He can’t rely on the vestiges to teach him anymore.
I think it should reveal that he had a qurik all along. It took the power of rewind to unlock it because we still have no clue on who his father is or was so I feel that should have a part in the story.
I think like others are saying, there really is a point. All For One had once said that the reason Deku will lose/fail is because Deku has lost nothing. In the end, he has to risk everything and sacrifice himself to make up for that difference. When he was weak and powerless, the Villain said, he would be just like them... But he changed fate with those hands. He succeeded by losing. He did what All For One could not. He's currently uniting an entire country, led by the strength of his conviction and his singular level of determination. This entire scene, it is everything. All for one gains what he wants, and in gaining that he has now lost everything- including his own brother. This is peak writing at its deepest roots!
They have to wait 2 minutes... So AFO has 2 minutes with a body that has more potential than a symbiote undetected Hulk to fight every hero left when he was handing the best 10 their asses the last time he controlled Shigaraki, keep in mind rewound deku without the first user wouldn't neccesarily have ANY quirks as the stockpile could well be gone, so he could be about as weak as Uraraka or mineta even with his arms back.
I think what's gonna happen to Deku is not only is he gonna heal up, but it'll repair his OFA so that he'll regain his quirks. I have two theories so far: either A) Yoichi went back to Deku and rewind will do its work so that he can reveal that he pulled Tenko into him through his original quirk which allows him to gain it, or B) OFA will rewind without any of the previous users souls and Yoichi leads them inside of AFO to help the other quirk factors revolt against him.
I just read the Viz translation and I noticed something interesting Kurogiri’s skin is not black or grey like the other Nomu. The rip in his jacket showed his arm and it got me thinking what if Kurogiri is closer to Gigantomachia. Like what if he’s a High End that didn’t require the brain surgery part

I just remembered Deku still has float and transfer because shigaraki rejected shimura and he couldn’t transfer transfer because he wouldn’t be able to pass the abilities to shigaraki without it
LOVE your content uproar! You're the Best! 🔥🔥🔥
First love this channel you guys inspired me to do my own UA-cam thanks for the great content 💪🏾
Lol 😂😂 calling the one student Scyther from Pokémon definitely caught me off guard lol
How... how long has this final battle been going on for?
As long as when Dragonball Z Namek was being destroyed by Frieza and Goku was fighting.
It's a war. Ark bruh wait for afo gets backstabbed by Sakuna's mother who wqs behind it all
In my opinion is that Deku got his arms reminded and got his quirk back in the process as his arms were rewinded it must of obviously rewinded his quirk back into him aswell because I have seen clips of him still fighting , people are saying he lost his quirk, and others are saying he only has one for all and not the built up quirks, and from the newest leaks, he still has his quirk at the moment, so I believe eris horn rewinded Deku back to when he had his quirk and arms, bc when he lost his arms he did lose the built up quirks to, Deku explained to Aizawa he had to give up one for all but then Aizawa priced him with the horn obviously, so it shows Deku must of also got his quirk back in the process he got his arms back
We can't be sure of anything at this point since Horikoshi has been super vague about how the quirks actually incorporate into AFO and OFA (not to mention the whereabouts of the stockpiling quirk's vestige) but OFA getting Eri's rewind vestige through her horn would be the biggest game changer of all (no more permanent damage if it acts in tandem with the stockpiled power). Also, everyone's looking super badass while Kaminari looks derpy as all hell
We see characters from MHA’s anime, MHA’s movies and even Horikoshi’s other works yet we have yet to see any original MHA Vigilantes characters like Koichi appear
Because they were written and drawn by a different artist (Betten Court)
imagine deku gets a quirk called "new time for all" wich is a broken combination of new order, rewind and what remains of one for all
idk if he will get a new quirk...but when he was little when he went to the quirk doctor and was told he could not get a quirk i think that his quirk will awaken with Eri's rewind so deku will get his original quirk then someone important will show up in the fight and this person will shock all the heros as an unkown person joined in a fight. or yuichi is gonna be in the fight with afomeaning he has come back just like afo did -this is just a theory i made
You're single handedly helping me stay ahead in this show. I love your content❤💯
It would be cool if it rewinded him to the point where he only had one quirk like at the start, it makes sense the vessels are gone
Watch Deku rewind shigi’s body to before he got the surgery
Best part of the day new mha video
THIS IS THE AVENGERS ENDGAME OF ANIME
Just a few seasons ago they were at the entrance exam…now look at them
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
I love this video and channel
Thanks you for your video and channel
I love my hero academia all franchise
He really took i always come ack to another level
The students decided to fight, all for one.
I WAS going to do work but goddamn I gotta see this
They plugged Eri’s horn into his back like they’re re-downloading his arms 😭
I love your MHA content!!
"Scyther from Pokémon." Wow, you really did'em dirty.
NO MY CHILD SHOULD LEARN, NOT FAST, LET'S NOT GO
The thing about deku recovering the ofa, having it back, this arc really has many conveniences, seriously why the emotion? script gaps in the story.
If a plot was a character it's Eri, at this point we can call her quirk plot manipulation..
Lmao mha be doing a avengers reference with those portals
I clicked on the video hoping to hear about Deku's new quirk power and why it was shocking and I'm pretty disappointed by the non-answer, to be honest.
6:35 brilliant comperason
If i recall correctly Mineta's sticky balls that he uses get stickier the more stressed that he is right? Oh boy, he's about to go off
Eri wanting to be a singer is the most precious thing ive heard in a while
love this content! just a request but would you consider making content on manhwas like ORV? it would be really cool i feel... keep up the great work!
I swear to god if Deku's OFA can suddenly copy other people's quirks by consuming their DNA I'm burning the Author's house
I called the rewind being key to winning the battle many moons ago love feeling a bit smug haha
Portals? So like endgame? Nice! Can’t wait to see this animated
Eri will save her hero! Love your MHA videos! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m happy to see Deku arms getting healed. 👍🏾👍🏾😊
Keep up the great work and videos guys love the video
I feel the arm fix might end up being territory, since it's coming from a cut off horn. A 'quick-fix' if you will, that won't give Deku the same strength and/or durability his previous arms had.
I can accept whats happening in this manga, because when the power of friendship pulls through, its not like fairytail where they get hidden strength and a 3rd or 4th wind completely out of nowhere, its everyone working together, using their quirks to the best of their ability to help deku succeed
Congrats for 2 million subs
“Scyther from Pokémon” lmaooo
anybody else noticed that Deku has robot arms while getting healed? i think the Eri 's broken horn fast forwards Deku to the future instead of rewind ...
I can’t believe we are getting this close to the end of My hero it’s crazy
Chapter 420 looking a lot like Avengers Endgame at this point
I can't believe you're still on this whole quirk singularity thing. Let's just wait and see what will happen
It’d be kind of funny if Deku has a quirk singularity and names it “Thanksgiving” in reference to all the US themed smashes that allmight named
He’s being rewinded back to the time before he gave all his quirks.
Wild guess: Shigaraki is now with Deku at the vestige world and rewind will allow some form of overhaul 🤔
Decay + Rewind = Overhaul
Guarantee you, when they animate reinforcements coming through Warp Gate, someone will put the score from the similar scene from Endgame.
0:00-1:40
The fans were spot on
Deku gets quirk back and mixes with rewind
Better not make my boy quirkless at the end
CRAZY DIAMONDA
The wildest thought... Will rewind somehow be used on Shigaraki who is definitely not gone 😂
"Deku's new quirk power is shocking"
Chapter has nothing to do with any new powers 😐😐😐
Scyther made an appearance!? The disrespect 😂
He can’t rely on the vestiges to teach him anymore.
i'm calling it now! The rewind causes deku to get his original quick back from afo, like many have theroized, and it restarts OFA
This is peak writing at its deepest roots!
imo, the whole rewinding deku's atms back could have waited a chapter or two
They have to wait 2 minutes...
Okay plot twist deku dads come back from buying milk and helps deku
It might be possible that deli was born with a quirk and rewind will probably rewind back until he has it
I think what's gonna happen to Deku is not only is he gonna heal up, but it'll repair his OFA so that he'll regain his quirks.
Deku's NEW peculiar power is NOT IMPACTING, IT WOULD RUIN THE STORY, I'm a fan but if that's the idea, a lot of things were wasted
nah, rewind is not gonna mix in ofa cos it would defy the logic that only past users can be used by the current user
At this point we’ve been obsessing over the potential super quirk more than Vegeta obsesses over the super saijin
Rewind is going to give deku back his original quark Navel Lazer
I just read the Viz translation and I noticed something interesting Kurogiri’s skin is not black or grey like the other Nomu. The rip in his jacket showed his arm and it got me thinking what if Kurogiri is closer to Gigantomachia. Like what if he’s a High End that didn’t require the brain surgery part
Eris Quirks is complicated its basically Evolution/Regression maybe it truly makes OFA a true mutated Singularity.
