Another good product, skyzone is doing really great stuff lately. I love when there is everything in the box and you don't have to buy anything else to use the product. the shells are a good example as well as the antennas. Thank you for the review! happy flying
Compared to the old steadyview in quadversity mode is it really worth the upgrade? Are there any problems regarding compatibility with some cameras like the old steadyview? Thanks.
Might have to grab one of these later for the HDZero analog bay. Doesn't make any sense to constantly shuffle my existing module back and forth all the time, and despite the shortcomings of the previous modules, they appear to have fixed everything I cared about since.
Will this also work on say a skyzone 04x (that already has a v3 module) to get quad-diversity? If so I will get this so later on I have a standalone receiver for any other goggle I get.
Hi, great information. Can you make a video using the module with the DJI V2 goggles. I want to make sure that it works with the DJI goggles before I order one. Thanks!
hey dude. thanks for sharing. do you know if you can use 2 of these units for quadversity in the sky04x? would the unit in the right bay need to be mounted upside down? not sure how it would work out? or can i use a v3.3 steadyview module without the display and wheel on the right side? confusing stuff, thanks again. 🤙🏾
Hi man, yes - as far as I know you can. When using the Steadyview modules using the Skyzone goggles you can configure the VRX using the goggles UI. Hope it makes sense.
I had a new skyzone 04x goggle with the steadyview 3.3 before my HDZero goggles with fusion and I can say it was every bit as good or better then the fusion. That said, Skyzone seems to make weird mistakes with their programming. For example I couldn't go to steadyview x mode after changing channel as it wouldn't show picture but if I went to a normal mode or rapidmix first, got a picture to show then went to steadyview x all was fine. If I remained on that channel during a pack swap or goggle reboot it continued to work fine.
@@itsallsobothersome4537 So you're saying that audio comes through the pins? I'm having a heck of a time getting confirmation on that one, and I rather like analog's audio capabilities.
@@itsallsobothersome4537 Hey i just got this steadyview x module and haven't figured out how to make the audio work, I've tried this on my 04x and it does not have audio I've already updated the firmware of my goggles and the receiver. Did you do something to make the audio work?
Thanks mate. My previous experience with the TBS fusion was not amazing however I think that the firmware was improving since I tested it. The RapidFIRE is awesome and it seems that the SteadyView can dethrone it.
@@KremerFPV Really? I'm going to investigate the best module for the HDzero goggles. I only have a RapidFire Module working and it's super old. I will have to replace it soon, but trying to decide which one. I like the fan on the Steady-view. My RapidFire gets hot!
Wow. Looks like the king has been dethroned. The steadyview seemed to have better picture colors and quality and also held on the signal better. Impressive. Too bad this wasn't out years ago when analog was still hot. Its a tough sell to be investing in analog against a o3 setup. Almost like buying an amazing quality blueray player today. It might be the best at what it does but does it make sense to still invest money in a system on its way out?
@@gmivisualsjason3729 I have thousands invested in analog (1.3/2.4/5.8) and I went into the first DJI kit being biased but after seeing what it could do I don't enjoy analog anymore. Analog is still on my long range planes but for any of my multi-rotors they are all being converted. The main hold back was the OSD as I fly a lot of arducopter and there was nothing for DJI compatibility but now with wtfosd and DJI themselves adopting better osd there isn't anything I can complain about now.
Still need analog for small models but I hear you... my Fat Shark 50 degree FOV HDv2s with low cost Reaxacc VRX has been the best analog google so far for my eyes. Not OLED, lower res, no fine focus, etc but the picture is way better as playback off the DVR shows so really disappointed in 04X's due to reception and video quality. May cut out the non-standard size bay and try out the Reaxacc VRX in the 04Xs as they have better picture quality working as a monitor so the issue is the Steadyview VRX system. Over $100 to get v1.1 upgraded with current DVR upgrade to v2 specs... and not seeing it being worth it either as not much difference it seems.
Hello Gal Very nice product and presentation. Can we have comparison with same antennas and setup vs the rapidfire? Seem a good challenger. Thanks for all your work :)
This is just a scam, why would skyzone sell this without audio output?, I have tried this on my skyzone 04x goggles and I'm goin to save you some money so if the audio is really important to you then do not buy this receiver, because the manual itself says it does not have audio output. Wasted my money on this I should have bought a standard steadyview
Got one yesterday and i can tell you that this is way batter than my rapid fire .
Enjoy it!
Hey were you able to test the audio when you put it on goggles? I have mine but it does not have audio even on my goggles.

My pleasure Damiano 🤟
Very true. I got the cobra X goggles and just fantastic! only gripe is the padding & the aerials are so close together
Just got mine and tested it. Picture is cristal clear with the antenas it brings.
That’s great 👌

Es correcto utilizar este modulo con modo mix para long range o se deberia cambiar a
modo diversity en unas skyzone cobra X v2?
It depends on your setup. As far as I know generally Diversity should work better.
Is it possible this skyzone steadyview x module disassembled from the box to plug into fatshark hdo bay directly?
Yes

Great as always. Is there a chance you'll revisit the walksnail avatar HD with updated firmware and how it stacks against other systems?

Inserted into a goggle, the module can receive audio just fine.

I wouldn't say it's on its way out...... I have all the digital systems and still enjoy analogue and this is very appealing
Well if someone is just entering the hobby I will highly suggest to go digital. Analog is still not dead yet but it’s certainly gradually dying.
