It has been SUCH a fun few days as my gorgeous Yorkshire pudding came to stay. Join us for a spot of shopping, a lovely lunch in Marlow and a simply splendid evening in Henley with jazz, cocktails and girly chats. Then, sit with me as I indulge in a luxurious morning of skincare before heading off to film what might be my most requested vlog yet…

There is so much to gain by purchasing luxury goods second-hand. Amongst many of the items that I have purchased SH, I have two gorgeous pairs of vintage, Dior earrings, and a cute diamanté and gold, elephant pin - which I feel I paid a fabulous price for!
One of the beautiful things I have noticed about you, Leonora, is how genuine and generous you are with your comments towards your friends and family - actually, everyone who you come into contact with. Im sure you must always make them feel so special! You certainly made Monica feel like a million dollars, and rightly so!😍🥰

Sounds like some perfect girly time... a bit of shopping, yummy food and drinks, music to enjoy, some at-home spa treatments and oodles of good conversations and brainstorming! I’m so happy for you both to have this lovely friendship and see it blossom!
Watching you give yourself that facial massage was almost hypnotic! Your skin looks radiant! You could easily go without any foundation and just add a touch of mascara and a bit of lip balm to accentuate your most gorgeous features! Cherish these days when life has yet to leave any signs of experience and/or overindulgence! It’s all too easy to overdo the sun, cocktails, stress, pollution, lack of sleep and all the other many stressors that can affect our skin.
You are definitely a natural beauty! Of course I also understand and appreciate how fun it is to play around and get creative with various makeup techniques and applications for any and all occasions. It is also wonderful and very fortunate you are able to look glorious just wearing good skincare! 😍🥰😍

Thank God you are not pushing Skin and Me like others - there are so many companies out there and need promoting and my star is The Ordinary for serums and their products and also Boots chemist preparations and I use 100 SPF on my nose and I do not spend a fortune as I feel women are exploited and it is not fair and we need to stop that. I believe in looking after my skin but we have to be careful of being pushed to spend a fortune when really we do not have to. My mother had a lovely skin into her 90's and she used Nivea.

Oh I do love your home vlogs you know I do, but also seeing the drive from your home into Henley (I remember that very windy road) …. and seeing you at The Ivy in Marlow (we sat at that table) was wonderful ! Also the recommendation you gave Alan & I for The Bull on Bell Street in Henley was perfect. We adored Henley ! It is summer girls and I am not a black and white person in fact hate black it reminds me of spiders, funerals and witches so none of that in my wardrobe. It is also not flattering as it drains colour on faces and have to say the top is not right with the trousers - it is not elegant and I think white would have been better to match the trousers which I do like. Your friend Monica is very sweet and I love that she shops for second hand clothes and appreciates the cost of things.
I've just binge watched all of Monica's videos 'the monica way' on yt.. Can see why these two young ladies are friends. Monica is just the most loveliest genuine person.

I find skin care blogs so boring and prefer garden, dog, home, friends, Marcus, family and local town and country out and abouts. Even getting ready, breakfast and daily routines and picking flowers but the skincare is too much in one blog - needs to be broken up I think.
