    It's good to know that you are well.
    I have had my VOGE 300 Rally for 3 months, I am 65 years old, and I really enjoy it offroad.
    Your videos have given me more confidence that it is an excellent and resistant motorcycle and as I tell my children "take care of the motorcycle and it will take care of you."
    Thanks and keep riding.

    Spot on, I am 55 (been riding all my life). Living in Asia for the last 20 years, I have been converted to the joy of light/lower displacement bikes. Last year my friend and I did Morocco trip, including 325 km of desert riding. We rented (only choice) the old Tenere 660, in the sand, these bikes became real monsters, not fun. I have the Honda Rally 300, from factory, it comes with bubble gum suspension, choked up/Euro 5 terrible off idle fueling, soft bars, no racks or real skid plane, no charging port, no passing light switch (really important here in Asia, as most drivers are trying to kill you)......It took $3000 USD to correct all these real flaws. These bikes have been made like that for 8 years now, Honda simply refuses to fix these issues. So for the price of one fixed Honda Rally, my friend and I can buy two of these bikes and go. Thx for good vid.

      Thank you. I believe that Voge have really done their market research with this bike. my first sand experience was in Morocco on a Triumph Tiger 1200. Monster describes it well. 🥵🥴😂

    Great review Bryan I’ve owned mine for 5 months now and I love it. I put some Michelin trackers on and it’s made an awesome trail bike. It’s a good value capable trail bike simple as that.

    Hello there, I have been watching all your great videos on the Rally. Glad you like it so much. I live in Italy and have a similar motorcycle story... I have owned 3 Bmw K75S, great bykes, no doubt, but had to sell the last due to local restrictions(it was from 1986). I turned to a Suzuki DR350 and to off road riding(at the age of 63) and I really much enjoy this new kind of driving. Aside I got a SWM Six Days, very enjoyable motor byke. I have a different way of going around, take my time, enjoy the countryside, just like you. Have fun and keep safe, ciao

    Hi Bryan, nice to see you back in the saddle. Well, I'm 68 and have similar feelings looking at my Voge next to my GS1200. The Beemer is still useful for when Mrs Clunky-Gearbox fancies a trip, but the Voge wins hands down for a fun ride. Cheers.

    Great video, I'm but a youngster at 59, I bought the Himmy 411 to do this type of riding, It has just been sold so the 300 will be on my radar, Put gators on the forks that will illiminate the seal issue👍👍👍

      Thank you. The Voge 300 Rally is more off-road biased than the Himmy. Nathan the postman has made a good comparison video. Thanks for the tip about the gators.

    I had that tippical knocking in the fork,too. From the beginning, solved the problem by loosening all bolds of the Trippletree and tire, and tightened them like it's told for my fireblade.....gone !
    But now my clutch is giving problems. Sometimes i can't pull it anymore and the gearlever is completely fixed.
    Still i have to measure the suspension travel....must be 24cm and not 20.5....

      If your bike is still under warranty it would be best to take it to the dealer. Good luck.

    great ownership review - keep going fella, having a lighter bike is the way forward at all times if you ask me, i hate to mention age but it makes great sense to keep the riding safer and more enjoyable - we all age and we know what comes with it - if a bike allows continued exploration and enjoyment as we age then that is the right bike - the engine will be fine as we know it is a kawi at heart , if the aftermarket can catch up soon and offer some nice extras for owners these bikes will become super popular and will encourage Voge to keep pushing the envelope a bit

    I re watched your 3000 km review also, and wondered if you had ever checked the wheel and swingarm bearings. Several vloggers report a lack of grease in them and one showed damaged bearings. Then another reacted and said that though not abundant, his bearings seemed to be sufficiently lubricated. I guess one should hear metally noise when going downhill on asphalt with the engine off, if sthing wrong there (?).
    I am at 2000 km now and will have the mechanic check the bearings next service.
    Thanks for the videos, they are helpful.

    • @livelongrideonover70
      @livelongrideonover70  Місяць тому +1

      Thank you for your comment. I check the wheel bearings regularly. They are still original at 7,000km, with no signs of wear. After the 10,000kms review, I removed all the lower suspension linkages. The bearings had very little grease, so I put in as much as I could and refitted everything. I did the same with the steering head bearings. I have seen several reports that say this is the same on many of the top brands of bikes.

    I'm 65 in a months time and currently ride a BMW R1200GS and although I've done a little off roading on it it's obvious to me that it is way too heavy to do any serious off roading. This Voge 300 Rally is a serious contender at a great price to enable me to out around the back trails on the Yorkshire Moors a lot more than I do now, I'd keep the GS for the long touring trips though.

    • @livelongrideonover70
      @livelongrideonover70  8 місяців тому +1

      It sounds like a great combination. Each bike has its different specialities. The Voge is like a toy off-road compared the GS. Skill level and experience also makes a big difference. We must enjoy our bikes for as long as we can.

    Regarding the fork seals, I've seen people putting neoprene/fabric seal covers in order to prolong the live of the fork seals. I guess it reduces the amount of dirt and dust on the forks itself, but I don't know if it stops the super fine dust that you're dealing with.

    Hi there, I tested this bike today and here are my brief thoughts :
    "Comments after Essais/Test ride :
    Front brake pretty-much non existent, back brake good;
    Taller than I remembered;
    VERY short gearing, leading to 60 kph at 6000 rpm 6th gear;
    Vibey, like riding a 125cc;
    Good handling/cornering on-road; didn’t test off-road;
    Not for me."

      @livelongrideonover70  9 місяців тому

      We all have our personal likes and dislikes with motorcycles.
      I found that the brakes improved after use.
      Some people change the rear sprocket to improve gearing for highway riding. I find mine is ok as standard as I don't use it primarily as a road bike.
      Yes it's vibey, as to be expected from a single cylinder thumper, but not excessively.
      It is a trail bike. Riding off-road is where it really shows its character.
      Whatever you ride, enjoy your bike.

    Voge(CF moto) which is supplier for BMW 800/850/900 easily makes one of the most reliable engines in adv market. Chinese are coming hard and when you look at this little Voge you see that is 5 times better bike than Honda CRF300rally

      Thanks for your comment. The Chinese have really done their market research. The right bike at the right price. The Voge is becoming a very popular choice.

    Thank-you for another informative video, from another happy Voge 300 Rally owner :) From a previous video of yours I seem to remember that in order for your Aliexpress engine bash plate to be fitted you had to leave out some side pieces of the fairing, does my memory serve me well? However, from the video of a French Voge owner in reply to a question of mine he said that he was able not to leave out anything, although I believe that his bash plate is the same as yours, as you can see here: ua-cam.com/video/s8VJdmiHC-U/v-deo.html . I'd like to make sure what to expect before I order the same plate. Thank-you.

      Hi, thank you. I did not fit the black side trim. Looking at the video you attached, it looks that he has also not fitted them. The plate does not have mounting points. The link below looks like a better plate, as it also has the mountings to attach it to the side of the engine.

      I have just watched a couple of your videos. Honey moley bro, you can ride. Makes me wish I was 50 years younger! I don't think the Voge is made for that! Servicing is easy to do yourself. I have obtained filters from AliExpress, and this bike is becoming popular in many countries in Europe. I have bought brake pads from a dealer in France, online. So far, after 16,000kms, the bike has not needed anything else changed. Ride safe. Have fun.
