I find August's fate to be even more disrespectuful towards us fans especially in the light of what Neal said in 2x14. When Rumpel tells him that he can turn the clock back, make him 14 again so that they can start over, Neal is rightly pissed off! "Take away who I am? No thanks". Why should it be any different for August? Why is the freaking Blue Fairy allowed to take someone's identity away, why the heck everybody finds it to be a good thing? This is just sick. Sick and wrong.
because unlike Baelfire, Pinocchio has no grudge against his father, in contrary. He has lost a lot of his childhood time with his father which he actually wanted because of the curse. August needed help as he turned wooden again ... and he literally wished to be how he once was, probably to regain all the time he has lost. Baelfire on the other hand despised his father's magic and power and did not want to have anything to do with it. he did not wanna lose everything that made him hate his father. August and Neal are a totally different situation and background. And tbh, I get you there, I was also very sad that August gave up everything that made him himself up to that point, all his memories. On the other hand though I get why he did it.
I can't even watch these clips anymore because I am so pissed off about how last nights episode ended. I mean, was that really the only option they had? August was one of my favorite characters and by doing what they did, they just wasted a whole bunch of potential.
If I was in Emma’s place, I would have just walked out on Storybrooke and never looked back, and if August tried to drag me back I would have called the police on him and had him arrested for forcing someone against their will.
She's so deep in denial that her subconscious filters it out and replaces it with something she can believe, as August said: "She doesn't want to see, so she doesn't."
They could have ended it with August turning back into real August and just have him go off-screen to catch up with his dad. At least THEN we would've had the satisfaction of knowing that he's still there. And now he's a kid. For. No. F***ing. Reason.
“How arrogant are you to think yours world is the only one! There are infinite more, you have to open your mind.” One of the most beautiful and sincere words that Jefferson said. Words make you think too long, but Emma didn't
WHAT AUGUST WANTED?! D: WHAT THE HELL, ADAM! August wanted to redeem himself. Pushing a freaking reset button is not redemption, it's just a stratagem to get rid of a character who was becoming too complex and too hard to handle for the writers who only care about the Charmings, Rumpel and Regina!
This scene totally highlights the current problems of this show....Emma's character was 3 dimensional and complex and the writing was a million times better in the first season. The stories were always going to be cheesy but now they're just convoluted with no inventive dialogue to back them up. Emma just isn't the same badass sarcastic quick witted character she was. shes become sappy. i get that shes dropped her walls but why does she become so detached from the character in season 1 that she's barely recogniseable?!! pisses me off cus i love the show so much
Oh yes the first season is the best and I like how they very lightly had subtle Disney references and they kept a bit more true to the brothers grim later on it becomes so Disney it was like a live action Disney World Series.
Word! So much word to that comment! I would have prefered a normal death to that terrible de-aging a 100 times. The worst thing is that the writers do not even realize that what they've done is terrible. They honestly want us to believe it's a happy ending.
Exactly, exactly, exactly! The way Neal reacted to his father's offer was one of the reasons why I had a little hope, that they might not do that terrible thing, even though the spoilers were kinda obvious. How can this be a bad thing for Neal but a good thing for August? Double standard much? Did you read the tweets that Adam wrote about this issue? He said that that's what August wanted. This is ridiculous!
After last episode I just can't watch it either... I'm hoping they'll finish this bullshit with his tyoung pinocio who doesn't even remember last 30? years of his life...
(I don't know if this is true) I heard that the actor who plays August didn't want to do the show any more. (He didn't get along with the cast or something) So thats why he turned into a kid. Its better then him dying I guess :/
Speaking as someone who's seen every episode of this show, I think this is still one of Jennifer Morrison's best acting scenes ever.

Its always an amazing show
“Then you’re all screwed” for some reason YEARS later that line comes into my head it was so powerful
I love Jennifer's acting in this scene.🥰
can someone please tell me,why can't she see his wooden leg?
Bc Emma doesn't believe about Magic so she can't see him wooden leg
Part of the curse

This is the best scene of WoodenSwan! I love the debate..

He wants that his father remembers him
He was turned back into his adult form

Character developement
Season 1 will always be my official season of OUAT. I swear this show had all the potential to be amazing and the writing turned messy.

nostalgia August is back !

False im sure
I love SwanFire, but I also love WoodenSwan, and this is SO much better than Captain Swan!!!
Captain swan is the best and Woodenswan is an amazing friendship
@@stephanielorraine1898 CaptainSwan🤮
OUAT was so great :( But then Captain Swan happened and it turned into a melodramatic teen soap opera
Thank you so much for uploading this scene! It reminds of also how Jesus (also a savior) struggles with his responsibility of saving in Luke 22:42
