The only thing that I don't like about KBM is how difficult it is to dribble. I can flick alright, my powershots are solid, I can speedflip, wavedash, air-dribble... but after 1000+ hours I'm still working on mastering basic dribbling. Frustrating to watch my friends on controller pick it up in a couple hundred hours while I'm grinding almost every day.
I feel like it is easier to learn Insane mechanics on keyboard than it is on controller, because I’m a KBM main but I also play controller, so it just depends on your playstyle

One of my friends who was a controller player, switched to kbm because bis cousin borrowed his controller, but he still played pretty decently, and scored 2 goals against our gold opponents (he is silver)

When KBM/Controller are both on the same rank, they should be nearly as good, so a comparison isn't really scientifically valid. Would be interesting to see if one of the controlling ways limits a persons potential more. Is there any data on the distribution of KBM amongst the ranks? Does it get less the higher the rank is? COULD be an indicator... But very entertaining stuff nevertheless of course (don't want to hate, just my thoughts on the matter)! :)
there was literally no hypothesis, so it wasnt even a scientific experiment nor was it intended to be, it was just simply a 1v1 between an mnk and a controller player of each rank. its not that deep
Most of the matches felt like mismatches too, with the controller player being far better than the mkb ones. Not because controller is better than mkb, but just because the player was better and had more hours. Kind of a dumb video but a little fun at least.
KBM players are more likely to be lower ranked, but that could just be an indicator that there are more casual KBM players. People who take the game more seriously are more likely to actually own controllers, because they're more serious gamers. I know that personally the reason I play KBM is simply because that's all I know, in every other game I've played I used KBM and I didn't own a controller when I picked up RL.
