The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. My husband and I are retiring this year with over $7,000,000 in tax deferred investments. up until 3 years ago we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year.
Same here, 75% of my portfolio is in the red and I really don’t know how long I can stomach the losses. I’m beginning to reach a breaking point.

this is the problem with majority of young students.. He made a great informative video that will ACUTALLY help students get financially independent but the views are still under 5k (which is less compared to his other videos).. Instead if he had made a stupid vlog flexing his car or his phone just like other youtubers do, the views on that video would have been much higher. Piyush, if you are reading this, I hope you continue making such informative videos (especially related to stocks and investing). Quality of content is much valuable than the quantity of views it gets. Good job, friend.

My uncle lives in Canada and drives truck, he's a multi millionaire and owns 5 houses at 35 just by Saving and investment. He used to work on cash in student life, never drink tim Horton until work permit. He used to save 700-800 per month in student life without break months.

This is probably my 3rd time watching this video, its very informative and very helpful. Just one suggestions, there a few scam comments below, i reported them but it would be best if you can remove them when you get time since people might fall for them. (the comments taking about person x and y saved them from financial debt etc)

If your canadian broker allows access to indian exchange, then you may be able to trade indian securities; when you come to canada, you will get a SIN number, then you can find a broker that gives you access to indian exchange; Also there is one thing to consider in my opinion, if you just come on student visa, and do trading that generates income - that will be considered as business and will be fully taxable + you will have to get your study permit converted; as a student only investing is advisable as day trading or active trading may have tax implications

if you are in canada, you can just buy index ETFs like VFV (for example) which will give you exposure to the index. Such Etfs are traded in CAD and give you exposure to US markets
