Jodi’s been victimizing people for years, according to her niece and per her prior license suspension. Bet there’s many victims who have been afraid to come forward as they have self-blame and/or do not want to implicate their parents or the Mormon church. Hope they come forward and get Jodi put away for a long, long time! Also hope the victims sue the Mormon church for recommending Jodi following her suspension and other complaints. That church has trillions in assets. They need to be held accountable. Too many atrocities connected with them like the Daybell thing and the long history of polygamy. And why do people still belong to this cult?! Joseph Smith’s lies were such an obvious, unbelievable scam!
Idk if it's possible, but wouldn't it be great if the prosecutor doesn't offer Hildebrandt a plea? Sure, trials are expensive and time-consuming, but this woman is on another level and if the accusations against her are true, she needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. One thing I wondered is if the defendant has a choice of a jury or bench trial in Utah. If they do, I wouldn't be surprised if Hildebrandt chooses a bench trial, knowing how absolutely despised she is by the general public. She might get a harsher judgment from a jury than a judge.

(And police/doctor testimony that there was actually also rope underneath the duct tape.) Finally, they have R saying he was being strapped down. He wasn’t tying himself up like that. @@sleepyshark5365completely agree. And this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I really think Ruby was brainwashed, too. She isn't blameless but she trusted someone who she thought was highly respected and trustworthy, straight from her church elders. The Mormon church has just as much culpability in this as Ruby does, maybe more. One more reason why religion is poison.
So that's why all those statements from Ruby's lawyer were about feeling deep remorse and resetting her moral compass: to plant the seed of reformation and get the parole board to release her as early as possible. And then if the court has to remain neutral about it, because of her plea deal? Suddenly it seems like it was actually a pretty good deal for Ruby. I'm worried she'll be out in no time.
"Certified mental fitness trainer." Certified by who? Is that like a life coach, which requires no certification, no regulations and no monitoring. Some of these coaches charge more than $200 per hour for coaching on the phone.
I don’t know why but I feel like Jodi won’t accept a plea deal and I think in this case, there will be a trial. She will stay behind what she says and that she thought she was doing was right to those kids. She’s the only one that won’t take responsibility. But there’s still a chance that she could accept a plea deal like Ruby did. But I have a feeling that it won’t happen. She could do the same thing that Ruby was doing blaming someone else instead of taking responsibility for her actions, which I don’t think she’s done either.
I think she has a family member who said they'd heard she'd been diagnosed with psychopathy, and if that's the case, it's very unlikely she'd take a plea deal. She also gives narcissist vibes, which would also make it unlikely that she'd take a deal.
Her niece probably will not be able to testify because what Jodi did to the niece has nothing to do with what Jodi did to the children. Prior bad acts usually can't be entered into evidence except under limited circumstances.
@@debbie5876 it has everything to do with what she did to these kids especially if the accounts are the same/similar. I think there could be legal ground to bring it in. Up to the lawyers and judge.

It's not up to the lawyers, it's what the law allows and whether the judge deems such potential testimony relevant or too prejudicial. I hope more victims of Jodi come forward. Although this case is heartbreaking and horrific, I hope Jodi also gets held accountable for all her other crimes!
How anyone listened to them and not report them to the authorities is beyond me ,more than that if anyone did and they didn't act straight away shame on them to starve kick hold a child's head under water ,why didn't the older children not tell a teacher ?? Anne from Scotland
I am no big fan of Jody‘s that’s for sure but Ruby Franke and her husbands were doing this before they met her. I did see some of her show eight passengers, and she was terrible. Just terrible to those children. Making the two youngest children to act humble, and not receive Christmas gifts, but the other children did I really think she did not like the two youngest children look what happened to them. And taken a bedroom away from a teenage boy and making him sleep on a beanbag it’s just too much. This is just disgraceful and these women should go away for life. You have children if they are the things you’re supposed to take care of OK I’m done.
This why we can't always blindly trust people who say they are officials and professional wolves in sheep's clothing. I feel like Jodi was the master manipulator in all of this.
Oh come on ! There is proof just watching what she did to those children on UA-cam & ALL the calls to child serves the police ????? What is going on here clearly they need the older children to testerfy !!!!!!! Ruby needs 60 years in prison all those kids suffered & Jodie also ! Why isn't the husband in jail yet everyone seen this horrible stuff going on UA-cam ! He knew what was going on !
Rationalizing using anger as a tool is just one example of what happens when you do not understand the 3 types of thought (rational, rationalize, irrational). It is something that you must teach your children at an early age (along with cause & effect and delayed gratification) to break the cycle for our future generations.
Jodi: “Anger is my favorite emotion.” Ruby and Jodi: 😂😂😂😂 Who loves being angry? What the….. I do love playing angry songs as a musician but I don’t love actually being angry lol
1) The children were witnesses to Jodi being there for all of it. 2) Please, PLEASE stop showing the faces of her children. Have a bit of decency. (Advertisers, please note.)
I sure didn’t know about the Utah courts allowing the parole board to sentence. For Jodi- they also have the children’s interviews saying who did what. So sad!!
My opinion and I have been following it as all of you all have reported. It’s a shame how Ruby has treated these babies. As seen on 8 Passengers. That being said, Ruby was mistreating the children long before she hooked up with Jodi.
I don't think jodi will take a plea deal or admit guilt, because she doesn't see that she's done anything wrong. I'm sure there's a proper psychiatry term to describe her. We know shed done this with Jesse & many, many more victims. But if she didn't admit guilt wouldn't the children have to testify? Though I think it could be extremely powerful, if they have to testify I hope the courts treat them sympathetically, records in a separate room by video, not letting them see jodi etc. I'm used to teach and I've heard terrible things, but this case shocked me. They could have ended their lives kicking them, but a rib, but their spleen or other organs...cruel!
I’m not saying Ruby is innocent by any means but I do think she was slowly isolated and manipulated by Jodi. Ruby looks and seems genuinely sad and shocked while Jodi looks like she got caught red handed.
She'll have plenty of time to enjoy her favorite emotion in prison. It's not going to end well for her. The prisoners won't be fooled by her delusional b.s. like the simple Mormon housewives were.
I wished when her videos were replayed, someone would put the date of release on them. It would be interesting to see when her children were starving and if her husband was also in the video, and if she had even met JH.
for me the scary part is that what if they didn't record and upload these heinous things? they probably would have not been caught sooner and the children would have suffered more.
I know the sentences would be dissapointing but my dad did horrible things to me and he never even paid a day in jail, its a miracle they are having to sit there at all

She only has to serve 40% .. did I hear that right?? She'll be out in NO TIME .. smh
for the following sentences
Does anyone notice Ruby’s one long blink followed one short blink. After pleading guilty each time? So strange.
"Certified mental fitness trainer." Certified by who? Is that like a life coach, which requires no certification, no regulations and no monitoring. Some of these coaches charge more than $200 per hour for coaching on the phone.
Doesn’t look like Jodi ever skipped a meal, whilst starving those kids.
@@whenimonmymoon6822 Ruby also gives off narcissistic vibes. But yeh I agree Jodie likely will plead not guilty.
I’ve never heard of sentencing like this.
Me either !
I've heard sky is a very good attorney. I feel bad for Sky in the Kori Richins case because Kori isn't giving her much to work with.
If he does his best in spite of having little to work with, then her rights are upheld, and the conviction has a better chance of standing.
I knew she looked familiar..
Child protective services were called but nothing really came of it. How many more times do we need to hear those words?
I’m sure her niece would testify. She has no defense. This is silly
@@debbie5876what Jodie did to her niece is exactly the same treatment she went according to her it was worst
@@charleenk71 Debbie is correct. HOWEVER, there are limited exceptions to show a pattern, which you allude to. It's not up to the lawyers, it's what the law allows and whether the judge deems such potential testimony relevant or too prejudicial. The law is extremely detailed and nuanced, it's not just made up on each case.
NO DEFENSE.
Ruby has put on weight in jail. Hope her kids have.
He should do time too. Had to have known. 20 years for abandonment alone. 6 kids my god
It’s like she couldn’t believe herself when she said guilty each time. 😢
All theatrics. Used to performing for the cameras. She practised that many time, along with her little hairstyle.
I hope more victims of Jodi come forward. Although this case is heartbreaking and horrific, I hope Jodi also gets held accountable for all her other crimes!
Yes, she is the devil incarnate.
I’m sure our ladies on the inside will take care of Ruby & Jodi appropriately for their entire stay. 🧡👍
I agree with everything you said 💯 !!
Hi Skye, what about Jodi past history with her niece ? And Ruby actions before she met Jodi ? They're both evil.
They should both just plead insanity. Because they clearly both utterly insane.
They're sadistic..
My gut says these two ladies are a couple in some form...
They need to review the UA-cam videos posted by these monsters!!!!!!!!! Find violations… do your job!!!! Get justice for these children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They had wounds and were malnourished at the hospital
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 for justice for those poor kid's!!
This why we can't always blindly trust people who say they are officials and professional wolves in sheep's clothing. I feel like Jodi was the master manipulator in all of this.
People like Jodi often don't fare well in prison.
If your child says I’m going blind and she stalled by cleaning to take her to hospital is so sick to watch on video
I can’t believe any person could do this to children. And then to do it to their own children? Disgusting.
She smiles because it is still all fun and games for her
I hope Ruby and Jodi being in jail makes THEM Humble!!
Why isn’t dad being charged with anything? Neglect?
Ruby's attorney looks EXACTLY like Ducky from NCIS 😂😂
THANK YOU!! I couldn't place it but kept thinking I recognized him from somewhere 😂😂
Why isn't Kevin being charged?
Because the kids said he wasn't involved and she did it while has wasn't there...
Rationalizing using anger as a tool is just one example of what happens when you do not understand the 3 types of thought (rational, rationalize, irrational). It is something that you must teach your children at an early age (along with cause & effect and delayed gratification) to break the cycle for our future generations.
Jodi: “Anger is my favorite emotion.”
Ruby and Jodi: 😂😂😂😂
Who loves being angry? What the….. I do love playing angry songs as a musician but I don’t love actually being angry lol
Insane!!! The kids have a life sentence of emotional damage!
She is disgusting and not insane ,it she charged people for therapy they should be refunded
1) The children were witnesses to Jodi being there for all of it.
2) Please, PLEASE stop showing the faces of her children. Have a bit of decency. (Advertisers, please note.)
We've already seen them all. It's not a big deal.
I sure didn’t know about the Utah courts allowing the parole board to sentence. For Jodi- they also have the children’s interviews saying who did what. So sad!!
I would require Ruby to attend and pass child development courses and religious de-programming.
Specifying cult of Mormonism
My opinion and I have been following it as all of you all have reported. It’s a shame how Ruby has treated these babies. As seen on 8 Passengers. That being said, Ruby was mistreating the children long before she hooked up with Jodi.
Wow…VERY impressed by this lady❤❤ she knows what she is talking about😊
😂🙄🤦
She's some kind of malignant narcissist, delusions of grandeur and probably a sociopath.
Ruby admitted smothering son drowning!what mother could do that and the little girl ? Jesus Christ!
For 3 days I’ve been too busy 🌻🐝…and now I thank you for this update!!! 🙋🏼♀️👏🏆
I’m not saying Ruby is innocent by any means but I do think she was slowly isolated and manipulated by Jodi. Ruby looks and seems genuinely sad and shocked while Jodi looks like she got caught red handed.
Ruby was smiling and smirking as she entered the courtroom and acting very different and strange compared to her family UA-cam channel
Anger favourite emotions says it all !
She'll have plenty of time to enjoy her favorite emotion in prison. It's not going to end well for her. The prisoners won't be fooled by her delusional b.s. like the simple Mormon housewives were.
Please put Jodi away for longer than Ruby. Jodi is beyond worse!
I know the sentences would be dissapointing but my dad did horrible things to me and he never even paid a day in jail, its a miracle they are having to sit there at all
Hopefully. Kevin. Is charged and put in prison. He is a disgrace. And was involved in this all along !!
RUBY WASN'T INSANE OR INCOMPETANT AS THEY LET HER TAKE A PLEA DEAL
No one said she was legally insane or incompetent...so...
Hilda Beast never missed a meal.
