Just before His arrest, Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, and He said to His disciples, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). The disciples’ spirits were willing to do what was right. But, as it turned out, they couldn’t even pray with Jesus for any length of time. Their flesh was weak. They fell asleep because of their physical human weakness. They were tired. I have been a bible thumper, I have been a hell and condemnation Christian. One day I heard a man say we could not enter the kingdom if we have anger. I had been taught anger is normal well this man said anger is from evil. I am now no longer an angry man I forgave my father and mother because they did not know. I felt Gods forgiveness and peace and it has not left me. This man is still with Christ and learning how to be his disciple. Man is not my enemy it's the evil that has been in every man, woman and child. They are being led astray by well meaning pastors preachers, rabbis, popes it doesn't matter what religion or what they believe. Please, understand that the cross itself is not what we need to pay attention to, nor to kiss it or even pray to it!!!! We need to honor Jesus who died on the cross for our sins but not the cross itself. Another false teaching is seen when Jesus or God is shown in videos and photos as having halos behind the head. This is pagan belief of honoring the sun God. The halo represents the honoring of the Sun but NOT OF THE SON!
