I've fought plenty of Prowlers in my Vanguard, and I can confirm that that is NOT how it's done. At least not successfully, especially the flipping over part.
@@drjooce It can be a interesting tool, allied vehicles can fire through it but it definitely lacks out in the open against vehicles BUT the shield does go through walls and allied infantry can fire through it too... so you can do some really dirty stuff with it in bases as a one-way shield.

The prowler shield is a big "SHOOT ME" sign for enemy tanks.
You can sometimes shoot the shield from a place where the Prowler can't shoot back...
