Love this review man your channel should have way more views. The shots of the watch give a far better idea of what it looks like in real life than other channels
I got the 37mm on the bracelet. I considered this over the Longines Spirit 37mm black dial, and I'm glad I went with this no nonsense tool watch with a design history that has no uncessary blingy bs, it's a timless design that won't get old. Bracelet is good, maybe they could've finished it to the same degree as the case, but I can't complain, the end-links have nice tight fit on the lugs, it's comfortable overall and I found a good fit. Accuracy is also amazing, hopefully that doesn't change with wear.
Finally a detailed video of this watch with the bracelet! I'm also a bracelet guy. I think my configuration would pretty much be the same as yours, except that I would opt for the 37mm because my wrists are smaller at around 6.5". I also love how the no-date versions don't have a ghost date, like you mentioned. Nice attention to detail there. Overall the Laco really seems like the perfect daily watch in its price range, especially considering the level of customization available. I'd say my only gripe is I'm not the biggest fan of butterfly clasps, but that's a pretty minor complaint. I don't hate them and I still would prefer a butterfly bracelet over a strap.
Nice review. It is really nice that a heritage manufacturer like Laco offers so much customization. Personally, I would have gone 37mm and manual wound. Enjoy!
This is what I want. I have a Stowa Flieger using third-party 5-link bracelet with straight end links, but I really wish I had a proprietary one. Kudos to Laco!
I want this watch in the larger size (42 or 43?) but with their bleue dial. Don’t see it offered as a choice but they have it in other large pilot variations. Hope they offer it in the near future.
Very informative. I'd like to get one with the ar coating on both sides and I have a question. How do you know its been made on both side compared with one side only?
Thanks for the review! It's good to have other flieger options. I still prefer the stowa with non screw down crown and handwinding. Do you know if this bracelet will fit the 40mm bracelet?
Any idea what it weighs in this config? Website says 113g, which is incredible, but no saying what config that is. Could be manual wind, closed case back, sized etc.
I configured one and it came to $1310. I also configured a Archimede with bracelet and blued hands with logo and date for around $1000. Stowa doesn't seem to offer a bracelet so I eliminated them. I don't really care about the name on the watch as long as it is German and is good quality with blue hands. Does anyone have any advice should I get the Archimede or pay extra for Laco:?
11:27 Fun fact if you want an original dive watch with history and that was 1 out of 3 (not 2) first dive watches made for consumers in 1953, you can pick up a Zodiac.
I think IWC are charging bullshit prices for the specs they offer! And no IWC comes close to a Laco Flieger Pro for everyday capabilities. IWC got AR-coating on the outside of all of their watches. Which basicly makes their crystals as scratch resistant as mineral glass. None of their watches have a lumed second hand. None have an open caseback and the lume is a joke on many of their models (Spitfire).
@@kristofdelint-wouters1980 IWC has never resonated with me, I think they should be in the Tudor price range. they are nice but not THAT nice to be charging 5k for a basic looking spitfire.
The best Value Flieger? I have an All Titanium Ali Baba Flieger Running an NH35 with Date even THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THAT WATCH. all for 70 dollars. EVERYONE THINKS IT'S A MARK 'IWC?' whatever the hell that is.

@@Moth11 thank you for that!
Love the tool watch look, and the new bracelet looks killer! for a more blingy alternative the new Titoni airmaster looks sick as well.

Right..the best One..I got the 37mm with steel bracelet. Basic version. Under 1000.... fantastic Watch.
Looks great
How would you rate this compared to a Sinn 556 in terms of build quality and fit and finish?
Wanna know also!!
Same here
lol same here @@ahmedtech090
Awesome looking bracelet. Well done Laco 👌
Love my miyota oliv aachen, my favorite mechanical watch by far :)
The attention to detail is incredible.
MIYOTA. aint that japanese? on a German watch. HILARIOUS.
@TruTube.1. How so? You find Japanese movements in watch brands from around the world. It's a reason they use them, they are great for the money
That bracelet sure looks good. Bummer that they opted for a butterfly clasp.
Really nice watch and great review. Would be great to compare against the Hamilton Khaki Field H70455133. While one would you prefer?
Gosh that looks great!
Thank you 🙏
Strongly Considering this watch. How would you compared the Laco Pro to the IWC Mark XX you reviewed?
holy sh*t that's beautiful. I wonder if it would scratch my IWC itch. Maybe not, but its pretty damn close.
Hi Mark, wow, thanks for this excellent vid! How does this Laco compare with an Archimede regarding the case and how wearable/comfortable they are?
Haven't had a chance to tryout the Archimede Flieger but their 39mm on bracelet has been on my radar
Seconds hand lumed!!!!this is legit
Perfection.
Why do you think about Dekla ? They offer the same movement but at a lower price, I like the bronze type A they make and might buy one
I own a Dekla, they're great pieces
I want this watch in the larger size (42 or 43?) but with their bleue dial. Don’t see it offered as a choice but they have it in other large pilot variations. Hope they offer it in the near future.
You can choose the blue dial now, I also consider to go with the blue dial in 43 size, b-layout, hand wound
Very informative. I'd like to get one with the ar coating on both sides and I have a question. How do you know its been made on both side compared with one side only?
Looks like a superb watch.
Gorgeous watch. Bang for buck!
Thanks for the review! It's good to have other flieger options. I still prefer the stowa with non screw down crown and handwinding. Do you know if this bracelet will fit the 40mm bracelet?
This Laco can come with hanwinding movement option
Looks great. Hopefully they'll come out with a blue dial version.
That'd be nice, a white dial would be excellent as well!
@@AverageBros If they did that I'm sure they would sell way more watches. I'd buy one right away.
Blue dial is available now
You can get a Doxa for original diver. Right? This is huge winner by LACO! Thanks for video
Can you compare this to your Terrasport, including their weight?
Imo this is all you need if you gotta have a pilot piece
Is this flieger Pro? Are the index in white ? The index on the website look kind of yellow =(
Also are does it come standard with heat blued hands?
Links in the description
Exactly! They totally look yellow
how did you get the laco tool and cloth?
The tool and cloth came with the bracelet, not sure what you mean for the "bear" though, sorry
@@AverageBros i saw the plush bear in another video. sorry for that ;-) so you ordered the bracelet seperately?
@@tw2004 correct, already had the watch and got the bracelet once released later
@@AverageBros thank you!
Looking to buy the same watch. Do you think Laco’s AR coating’s got good durability? If they won’t scratch easily like Sinn’s I’d like to get one
Any idea what it weighs in this config?

Great way to get into a flieger with brand history for an affordable price.

Better then the stowa flieger 40? If yes, why? Thx!
The bracelet edges feel very sharp and unfinished, they cut your skin. The case finishing is better.
how long is the power reserve for your top-grade movement?
what size did you get?
Very nice…I would have gone manual.
Some say a flieger watch doesn’t belong on a bracelet. Originals on straps. You’re thought? I think it looks great.
I generally prefer bracelets, so I'm not part of that camp
Ickler case??
Does anyone have a part number on the bracelet ? I want this for my laco that only came with a lesther strap.

For 17 minutes, you had lectured but never showed the clasp, which I was desperately looking for. A total waste of time.
Karen-level... especially since he clearly covered it less than six minutes in.
Lectured 😂
Yeah well that's just like your opinion man
