Jains who are *Shrawakas,* can dress the way we want ! And once we take Dhiksha, we become naked as *Digambhar Jains!* And when there is a Rape, no matter however the ladies are dressed. But *ONLY the rapist is to be Blamed.* Not the girls / ladies. This Jain Sadhu should be *arrested and jailed* for blaming ladies for being *victims* of Rape !! Shame on this sadhu......
i am a jain. follow jainism. but his statement about rape due to scanty clothes is total rubbish - otherwise how does he explain rape of old women, children and completely covered women? is no man at fault ever? in another pravachan he said "kaki" spread discord in the house - why does he paint such a negative picture of women? - as a spiritual leader it is his responsibility - he must emphasise on good qualities and character of ALL - not pull down women, otherwise men will continue to look down on women. Shame...This is the reason why educated youth turn away from our religion. It is everybody's loss.
