    they were both Young back then , the first time i saw Hassan yazdani he had out his hands on his hips waiting to enter the field .
    i saw is long Arms and wide chest and it reminded me of Badr Hari and John jones and i thought this Guy will become a huge star in the future and look how great he has become now .
    only 20-21 years of age and lots of world gold Medals and all that aside , a very bold and strong opponent dangerous to everyone and one of the team members who . whenever enters the field, everyone is calm and sure he is gonna come out victorious ,
    reminds me of Alireza Dabir , Reza Yazdani , Rasoul khadem (the current Iranian team coach and leader) and many more of our heroes .our Pahlavans .
    there will be so muh to hear from him i am Sure .GOD willing .

    This was one of the first matches I've seen in which Pico wasn't able to get to his snap down offense. The Iranian held great position & was constantly on the attack with his own snaps & shots. This will be a good match to build on bc he did seem to address some of the length issues he had vs the Turk at the previous tourney. Give all the credit to the Iranian bc he came to wrestle & was on the offensive the whole match. Great showing by the entire JR Freestyle team as a whole by taking 2nd.
    The future is bright for USA Wrestling!!!!

    • @xman822
      @xman822 10 років тому +2

      not only the american is very bad wrestler overal (many times during this match he gets to single leg and not score any of them and loses the position like a rookie) he has also very low wrestling IQ and lacks any feeling on his position on the mat. plz look at 04:36. while he has the ultimate position in the most crucial moment he steps backwards while being on the edge of the mat and gives up a point! this is at the moment second dumbest thing i have ever seen in a wrestling match!

    • @shawntaylor8780
      @shawntaylor8780 10 років тому +3

      Baqer Baqur FYI: This young man is only 17 years old. He has a way to go but he has already beaten senior level guys & even has a tech fall over a Russian World Medalist.

    • @xman822
      @xman822 10 років тому +1

      i only told you some fact of the match! you can see what i said your self! the other guy is 16 or something aswell but plz look how he handels the situation seconds before that moment! 04:28 look at two steps he takes while one of his leg is taken by the opponent!
      btw i said this is the second dumbest thing i have ever seen! the dumbest was done by an olympic champ!

    • @shawntaylor8780
      @shawntaylor8780 10 років тому +2

      Baqer Baqur I've watched the match...I posted it. My response was to your idiotic statement "not only the american is very bad wrestler overal "
      I guess he's so bad that he was just put into the Finals of the Jr Worlds after winning a 2013 Cadet World Title.
      And by the way his opponent (Hassan Yazdani Charati) is 19 and will be 20 in December and this was his 3rd year wrestling at the Junior level. He also won an Asian Games title last month in the same weight class. He's a stud & a tremendous talent (Yazdani Charati), but only an idiot calls a Cadet World Champ & Junior World Finalist (Pico) a "very bad wrestler overall".

    • @xman822
      @xman822 10 років тому +1

      Shawn Taylor so u need to insult others to make a point! i rather use argumentation! and if u was open-minded enough to get a deep look in what i said you would understand! but then again you come with insult and non-argumens like cadet and junior silver! maybe this is what you americans see as your ceiling but we for us Iranians Olympic Gold and world gold medal is all what counts! the rest is just losing!

    Look at yazdani work through the position at 8:07. He ends up in that grounded seatbelt whizzer position a LOT throughout his whole wrestling career, and he is one of the best at scoring from here. Having the whizzer/overhook in this position against yazdani is probably the absolute last place you want to be in when wrestling him. But he puts himself there. Great wrestlers know the positions that they thrive in, and they get to them.

    Pico pulled on Yazdani's singlets couple of times in the match (the second time was so blatantly obvious while yazdani was trying to score) without the mat referee or any of the judges giving him any type of caution or even bring it up to his attention. what are the odds none of the judges saw those??? I would say the odds are None.

I know he has an awesome snap down and he wears on guys heads, but some guys will just stay low, hand fight and shoot (like this guy) and that will give him trouble unless if he changes his approach.

      "before he achieved much", are you kidding? Check his record, and see if you can still say that with a straight face. He came in SECOND at the highest level but champion status anywhere and at anytime he ever wrestled. This time? Maybe conditioning could have been better, maybe a coach like Dan Gable and an entirely different result, in my opinion.

    Hey American commentator, learn the bloody rules before you accept the job. When your foot leaves the zone you loose a point. The biggest problems Iranian wrestler face in international competitions is the attitude of their own coaches and of course the utter dishonesty & favouritism of the referees & judges most of whom are in the pockets of Americans, Russians & Japanese. However this particular referee was fair and decent.

    Horseshit international Sumo rules @ 5 minutes w/ Pico not thinking so close to the edge & pulling him out from that angle(again...in complete control), then Pico just forgot how to wrestle @ 6 minutes. Having our Americans training their entire lives in complete control on a TOP position trying to keep an opponent down, & physical DOMINATING your opponent is a hard habit to break once getting into these horrendous Push Out or International Passivity points. If I wanted to watch Sumo Wrestling I would. Also, refs in any Freestyle match in the USA would’ve called that 1pt Pico @ that point(he was in complete control), & obviously especially called much differently in a Folkstyle match. Then 6 minute mark hits and Pico looks like he just flat out forgot how to wrestle, also missed that Singlet grab though too. Yazdani world champ now, & Pico getting KOd in Bellator today! Could’ve had yourself a few World Champs like JB, Dake, or Cox by now Pico if you’d have stayed! Possibly even an Olympic medal too! Hate that...Smh

    hasan was much better, sure, Iranian people are nice people and they have big History, what a pity, that recent government keeps them in 7th century, actually Islam even was not religion of Iran, Arabs brought
    it by force, when destroyed Iranian culture. but now Iran is more strict religious than Arab countries..
