You make that look so easy! I have yet to perform the crossover in one step, even with the splicing wand! What’s you trick for pulling everything through with ease?
This video is pretty much useless without the information you never shared IE measurements, how many ets, nor what your doing throughout the video and lastly what are all the tools you used? Where can we get them? Is there cheap tools that will work for someone who will probably do about 2-3 in their lifetime? Whould have been a great video if that info was conveyed
We didn't really want this to be a "how to" video for liability purposes. You can check out our splicing tools page which offers a manufactures splicing manual for all types of rope. www.knotandrope.com/collections/splicing-tools

You can do that in 2 steps
Just finished my second splice. Thinner rope do bit harder too. Have pictures on Instagram @rgtreeservice. Will upload video soon.
Personally, I cut about 2 or 3 strands off the cover 5 inches from the end and the. Do the cross over, it makes it easier to get started

I just ordered 120 ft of blue thunder from you guys. My first climbing line. Is it pretty much the same to splice it?

So if the inner core is not a strength issue, then a cross over is really not necessary?🇨🇦🇺🇸

I bought a 120 feet from you guys, but I don't make it the eye splice , how much cost to make it a tide eye splice for a carabiner
The cost for a 16-Strand eye splice would be $27
