I love your reviews. And what I think is best about them is that you always score the negative by putting texts in the video. Most reviews I see on other channels either speak very quickly about an error or simply pretend they haven't seen it when they are criticized for hiding behind it. I leave as a suggestion that you always score if the front camera has autofocus this is very important for those who intend to use it intensively, because even if the embedded camera software is not good, Gcam can save the image quality if the focus is good.
@@airenesivad2975 I'm on F1 too and hoping the same about F3 Pro. I found in my Mi 10T (not sure if this applies to other Xiaomi device) that you can make the animations quicker (or slower, if you want I guess) through Developer options. Just scroll down until you find Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale. I'm not sure which will do the job exactly so I'd configure them however you please, either 0.5x or off completely.

Great review. Pretty sure this is OK for Google services. Basically, Xiaomi didn't certify their midrange Chinese models with Google and they didn't come pre-installed with Google services framework. Therefore side loading was illegal and Google pulled them up on it. However , their China model Snapdragon 800 series phone have Google Services Framework pre-installed and have been Google certified so there should be no problem in future with miui 12.5. Still no reason to get this in Europe over the Poco F3. If it had great cameras maybe but the cameras are mediocre for the price and not much better than the Poco F3

Anyways this is a greatly detailed review as always from you and this is definitely my favorite phone as it packs an insane value for money! Also a very good day to upload the video as its my countries Independence Day, thank you very much.
K40 Pro vs Mi 11i (they have different cam modules) vs Mi 11 vs Mi 11 Pro! All of them are from different price brackets but it would be nice to compare them whether it's worth to pay the premium for the higher device. I'm planning to upgrade from a Mi 9T so the Mi 11i looks nice.
I have a problem with my new phone. when I am star calling the screen often goes off before i lean to my head and I can't do nothing. I can't end the call or something else! I look around web and I find that I'm not alone. Having a proximity sensor that doesn't work as it should can be very annoying. Its role is to turn off the display in certain contexts, i.e. during phone calls and listening to voice messages on social media. This prevents contact between the face and the screen from accidentally pressing icons, elements, and so on. .the same problem have Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco X3 and Poco F3!
I really dont know with these higher end Pocos. They are much more expensive the X3 with only upgrade to OLED display and faster chipset while losing battery capacity, headphone jack, and storage expansion.
Many of the camera shortcomings are fine in the Pro+ version with the 108mp sensor. Given the existence of the Pro+ with 108mp and 12gb of ram the "simple" pro version looses appeal imho
if you're not savvy enough to know the difference, then the difference isn't probably worth it and you won't notice anything. basically this phone is a little faster than the f3 and has better camera but it isn't released outside of china (and likely won't be). you can import it, but i recommend you get the f3. it'll be cheaper (no import tax) but the main reason is it'll have your region's 4g band and many global bands, so you can travel without worrying about connectivity issues.
Nice review. But the K40 Pro has a Sony IMX686 and it's starting to get weird. The Poco F2 Pro has the same camera, probably the same module, because it has the same parameters, even the aperture. Photos from Poco F2 Pro are bad, if the light is not the best, I will look like a shi t. Lots of noise, faded paint or as an oil painted texture. And this phone, has the same camera and photos, looks good? Is it just SW optimization or postprocess in the camera application? Or is the difference SoC (Qualcomm 865 vs 888)? And this happens in many Xiaomi phones. They share the same cameras, but the results are completely different. And these modules are also used in other brands and have different results. These are almost always Sony Exmor or Samsung ISOCELL cameras in Xiaomi phones. So is it all about photo processing sw that makes a difference, and Xiaomi only differentiates high-end and mid-range using a sw camera? And the second thing, when you compare photos from phones as 3-4 years ago, top models, the photos look much better than today's flagships. Especially noise. Like the Huawei Mate 20, the Samsung S7 or S10 can take better photos than today's 64 Mpx or 108 Mpx camera phones. I have a feeling that there is only pure marketing around MPX and the number of cameras, but as a result the quality of photography deteriorates and only in specific situations, when it is necessary to show a novelty, it photographs well.
How much zoom do you get with the cameras? I take many nature pictures of birds and objects that are somewhat far away, so max zoom is an important thing for me.
I'm kinda disappointed Xiaomi stripped the K Pro series from an in-display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up camera. :/ Now i feel like it makes no sense to pay extra for the pro version, it has nothing unique to it :/ Thanks for the review - top job as always 👍
Wow... You're really rolling out the reviews, huh? Do you even get to rest? Not that I'm complaining though... Great review as always... And love that clip on Vera... (Got my tuxedo cat fix taken cared of) Thanks. ;))
What would be the choice if you wanted both screen/speakers/chip of K40 pro/poco f3 but some better camera such as redmi note 10 pro, but at a decent price ?
The decision would come down to the software for me. I have the F3 and it's definitely flagship hardwear. Well, lower-end flagship - it's similar to an Iphone 12, let's say. But the software is buggy right now. I mean, I can't really make calls that easily right now, because of bugs - they're pretty high profile and glaring! So, if Redmi have bug free software, I'd probably go with that in hindsight, even if it is a little slower. Or you could buy the F3 and assume Poco will fix the bugs later this year, which the will.
It's really annoying that you can't get a good 100 megapixel sensor AND 5g on anything but the top flagship model. Redmi Note 10 Pro has the sensor but no 5g...Poco F3 has the 5g but not the sensor, same with the K40 Pro...sigh.
hi chris, does happen the same with this panel as with the poco f3? I mean the issue of getting darker and darker while the temperatures get higher while gaming or recording 4k?
If i can buy this phone for less than the Poco F3 and with a global rom, is it overall a better phone? How would you compare the battery life with the F3? Overall it seems excellent, that is my only (slight) concern
I've been having issue with the proximity sensor, and my family has 4 units, and all having same issue. Screen keeps turning on and off during calls, listening to voice messages, etc. We've been waiting for updates/fixes since May 2021, and still no fixes. Anyone else having this issue?

Huh? Looks like the EIS within the Poco X3 Pro is way way better than this, but at 4K 30fps...
Yes the Chinese ROM is more buggy, worse video!
Waiting for the global release (probably as the Poco F3 Pro)
Same here
The Damascus pattern is so cooll..why Poco dont use it in F3, i just dont understand.
Anyway it's good review. Trusted tech reviewer ⭐👍
Thanks for watching
Ok, so redmi k40 pro or poco f3? Which one should I buy?
How does the 120hz screen compares to the one on the redmi note 10 pro?
Great review as always
I think it is the same display as the one on the redmi note 10 pro/pro max

Apple: why do i hear boss music?
Very good review sir.
Many of the camera shortcomings are fine in the Pro+ version with the 108mp sensor.
Given the existence of the Pro+ with 108mp and 12gb of ram the "simple" pro version looses appeal imho
So which Is better this one or poco f3 I'm using it for light gaming and mostly for media consumption. Can someone please answer this for me
poco f3 then, the 870 chipset is just as powerful as 888 while using less power
if you're not savvy enough to know the difference, then the difference isn't probably worth it and you won't notice anything. basically this phone is a little faster than the f3 and has better camera but it isn't released outside of china (and likely won't be). you can import it, but i recommend you get the f3. it'll be cheaper (no import tax) but the main reason is it'll have your region's 4g band and many global bands, so you can travel without worrying about connectivity issues.

Go for Xiaomi Mi10T Pro
Great review, as always. Just one question... What font do you have on that phone?
Yes, finally 👌
Samsung: why do i hear boss music?
Good video, wich camera is better between Poco F3 and K40? Greetings from Galicia, Spain
Poco F3 is the global version of K40. They're basically the same just the difference in name because of marketing.
@@silentgas I thought that Mi11 Lite was the global version of K40
@@Pablo-re8wy Nope.
K40 is Poco F3
K40 Pro will be the Mi 11x Pro
K40 Pro+ will be the Mi 11i
Wow... You're really rolling out the reviews, huh? Do you even get to rest? Not that I'm complaining though... Great review as always... And love that clip on Vera... (Got my tuxedo cat fix taken cared of) Thanks. ;))
So good Camera Quality
What would be the choice if you wanted both screen/speakers/chip of K40 pro/poco f3 but some better camera such as redmi note 10 pro, but at a decent price ?
nothing
The decision would come down to the software for me. I have the F3 and it's definitely flagship hardwear. Well, lower-end flagship - it's similar to an Iphone 12, let's say. But the software is buggy right now. I mean, I can't really make calls that easily right now, because of bugs - they're pretty high profile and glaring! So, if Redmi have bug free software, I'd probably go with that in hindsight, even if it is a little slower. Or you could buy the F3 and assume Poco will fix the bugs later this year, which the will.
You know they are nade by the same company right?:/It's just a name difference, and the software it's the same just with a little design difference
It's really annoying that you can't get a good 100 megapixel sensor AND 5g on anything but the top flagship model. Redmi Note 10 Pro has the sensor but no 5g...Poco F3 has the 5g but not the sensor, same with the K40 Pro...sigh.
Megapixel is a number
And sensor quality is a thing
@@hailgod1 ah, interesting
Isnt the F3 literally a rebranded K40 Pro but MUCH cheaper?
K40 and K40 Pro are different, the K40 has SD870 same as the F3
He mentions this at 21:10
would be better if you can show Geekbench scores and the wild life stress test results instead of just showing Antutu
Compare with N10pro/mi11 face2face in 1 video. Same screen and cameras (wide/macro)?
could you do a comparasion between the k40 pro and the k50 to see if the dimensity 8100 is on par with the sd888
Hello chris , can u reply my question pls ?
Should I buy K40 pro or Ip Xs for camera and audio recording ? Pls recommend .
I think this would be better than that older iPhone for video and audio.

Hi Chris, may it coming a global version too?
If i can buy this phone for less than the Poco F3 and with a global rom, is it overall a better phone? How would you compare the battery life with the F3? Overall it seems excellent, that is my only (slight) concern
Does band 20 really work on this phone?
Please let me know if any of such redmi phone crashes and we are supposed to flash the ROM then which is the best website
This is an beautiful location!! Is is Australia??
I've been having issue with the proximity sensor, and my family has 4 units, and all having same issue. Screen keeps turning on and off during calls, listening to voice messages, etc.
We've been waiting for updates/fixes since May 2021, and still no fixes.
Anyone else having this issue?
So how do we choose between k40 Pro and mi 10 T Pro and the K ultra models. Keeping a phone for 3 years +
Hi. Redmi k40 pro vs poco f3 vs oneplus 9r. Which is better?
