Always loved the police care ever since i was a kid,i have had several different cars going back to the 70s,of the old ones always liked the Matchbox Lesney Plymouth Fury the best,of the newer cars it has to be the Dodge Monaco,same era car,the newer Charger also is great thanks for this showcase one of my favorites.
Police & emergency vehicles are the focal point of my collection. I have over 700 police type vehicles within the collection. I'll do group photos so it doesn't go too long.
Nice! My matchbox police collection is a lot smaller but I do have these ones: 2:19 2:40 2:54 4:01 5:35 5:54 7:40 19:21 (GMC) I do have a lot more than this like a Taurus, explorer etc etc, but these are the ones me and lamley share.
Man, this video is about to bring me to tears.. haha. And I have to say, I feel you forgot one of the BEST castings, which is the Ford Police Interceptor SUV..!! WHERE IS IT..!?!? Numerous versions of that as well. The Highway Patrol, El Segundo, and another I think is unlicensed.. I'm guessing there are other versions as well. I've been building up my police department, and more recently, my fire department, medics, and tow trucks/flatbeds, but a lot are duplicates (which I like), and of course, because I buy what I can get my hands on.. I would like to think more than a hundred cars/SUV's in the police department.
Totally agree on your last pick. Its an amazing casting. I literally came across it yesterday in a store and had to take it home. Dont really collect Matchbox but lately I've been surprised by them and what I find in stores. I'm starting to think otherwise about them
You know you have to do a fire department/medic #lamleychallenge in December, right..!?!? =) I also would have included the flatbed tow truck in the November challenge..

In the UK (Brittan) a "Panda Car" refers to a police vehicle that appears in a black and white coloured paint combination and no other colour whatsoever!!
2 years later.... didnt even know some of these matchbox police cars were out there... i have a nice matchbook police and fire collection on display but i went with hero patrol and greenlight hotpursuit for 1/64 realism... hero patrol is by far the most detailed models in this scale ive seen... 360 decals and lights, police computer and partition along with opening doors and a opening trunk with equipment inside😅 they nailed it.
I know I am beating a dead horse I started beating when I first saw this casting here about a year ago. I have a love hate relationship with the casting at 2:42. I love the fact it exists but I hate the fact that matchbox labeled it as a 1994 when it more accurately portrays a 1991/2.
I live in russia and this bmw is kind a cringe. ДПС is an internal division of the ГИБДД. In other words ДПС cars patrol the streets and cars with ГИБДД sign don't exist. ГИБДД is organisation involving Technical Control Service, Road Inspection and Traffic Organization Service, Registration and Examination Departments, Vehicle Tracing Departments and other department. And ДПС (дорожно постовая служба- road and office service) the guys who give you ticket for speed violation, wrong parking or will help to rule(document) the car accident
can you get the terminator police car 1977 dodge monaco its in greenlight it has a little one and a large one and a big one its a toy so get it its in amazon and ebay
