- More than a thousand Australian troops paraded at HQ 34th Australian Infantry Brigade to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the foundation of the Australian nation. The Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal McCauley took the salute. The parade was led by 26 (N392) Brigadier Ronald Nicholas Lamond Hopkins CBE. The 66th Australian Infantry Battalion Band supplied the music. Part of the parade was held in a snow fall. Three squadrons of Mustang aircraft from No 81 Fighter Wing RAAF, flew past. Several hundred spectators were present, including dependants.
The first Australia day was held on the last day of July. Still remains Australia Day to me. Citizenship was born in 1948 which began the seeding of the soil to foreign corporate governance.
But the woke ordered me to think that Australia Day did not exist until 1994!
The name and date was agreed by all states in 1935.
@@darrylguise8493 No the first Australia days were held on the last day of July for the first 3 years by the CWA for returning soldiers.
In 1901 Australia changed from being six separate colonies to being a new nation, containing 6 states.
Nation state was defined in 1948 when citizenship was introduced. The Australian land flag was still the Red Ensign and remains as so to this day to defined Imperial Subjects as you are seeing in the 2021 demonstrations.

It interests me how the film has survived so long and gets digitized.
