We put it a little higher than normal this time, tracks have changed since the fires. Usually put in just below Little Nymboida/Bobo junction. There's a few tracks in on the estern side, not sure of the names but 4wd needed. It's a great secrion, and yes often good for when big Nymbo is too high. Be aware Junction campground has been closed lately, there's an alternative spot to get out at Black mountain.
@@ardeneques Thanks, we are camping at Cod Hole, river looks like being very high (2.5m-3m), initially going to paddle Platypus to Cod Hole, then Cod Hole to Junction, then the section down to Platypus. Looking at alternatives, have kayaked Grade V (including Nymboida at 2.5m, Nepal, Chile, NZ, Ecuador, Gwydir, Herbert) but now in our late 50's so looking at easier runs. Looks like a great section. Can you still drive down to Junction? We have 4wd's.
Is a great video. I like it very much. Many greetings ronactive
Thanks ronactive! Looks like you kayak some beautiful places too.
Where did you put in? It looks like a good section. Were are heading up next weekend and might do this section if the Nymboida comes up too high.
