Thanks for the video and i have a question regarding my assembly part, it has 3 components including a proprietary material. So i can make my Assembly as one component and create Component nodes for Child parts or other components. But how can i create a material for a Component node which has proprietary material? Please advise
@Ranjit Bhagirath, Thanks for your comment. You can't create a material in component node level, you have to create material separately and then add it in to component.
In case same components (assembly) me doosre child part ho aur alag material ke ho to kya material pehle se hi bana kar phir hi component banana shuru kare ya beech me se bhi new material bana sakte hai?!

For your supplier code you have to contact with your customer they will provide you supplier code and also remember for different customer different supplier codes are used. 2. If your supplier don't have any IMDS number no worry about it you can create material and component by your own and sent it to your customer by inserting in to your final component.
@@MyTechMentor How can we create the datasheet for the material which we are purchasing from other supplier. That way we are being responsible for the material which we are not producing, right?
@@sangam7 For that you have to ask for your supplier for material TC as per international standards and for confirming that your supplier give you a genuine Material test certificate you can also appoint a third part testing for confirming material's basic substance

Hello @Amanda H, If you Purchase a bolt or nut or any kind of product from your supplier ask for material test certificate also with that from this certificate you can make all your material for components because this material test certificate contain all details about material.
