That's one of the cleanest, nicest looking thrift stores I have ever seen.
I love the retro barbies fashion. It is so formal and dressy.

The Barbie 2001 is actually elegant, gorgeous, and beautiful! I really love her Mackie facesculpt, if I will go in that thriftstore, I would totally buy and get her! You can’t even find so much these kind of dolls nowadays... by the way, I love your finds! the Barbie 1996 Reproduction is actually so wonderful, the details from head to toe even in her gown is really everything! ♡
I know that rubber bands don’t survive on dolls, Instead, I just wash marks off her hair; I used thread which matches her hair color to wrap around hair to tie up. It’s good for years.

Toya, you would love my local antique mall, there’s a booth just dedicated to 80s 90s and 2000s toys.
Do a Sommer and Cali masquerade ball episode. You can use it to get all the dolls totally red carpet ready and have lots of fun. Perhaps a wedding scene where characters are invited to a wedding.
You can fix yellowed plastic by immersing the items in hydrogen peroxide for 5-24 hours depending on how bad it is and make sure that it's surrounded by UV light for the entire treatment. Wrap a UV lite strip around a clear plastic container (over the top too) then wrap the entire container with tin foil shinny side in. I've seen it done to restore game consoles and controllers and I still get shocked by how well it looks coming out of the bath. The coolest vintage dolls I've ever found and bought was an X-Files Barbie and Ken set. I paid way too much for them but I absolutely had to have them. They were made to commemorate the TV movie trilogy. I'm quite proud of them.

That sleepy “Better Days” Barbie is me after 2020
It was Western Barbie (1980). She has this mechanism where she can wink. In every video I've seen of this doll, it never seems to hold up well to time.
Something I always see in thrift stores is jewelry boxes, and I'd love to see a video transforming one into a doll armoire or dresser. It would be perfect for a vintage inspired bedroom.
Oh yes she made parents & grandparents for some of the dolls. would be cool to see what their bedrooms would look like it could really expand the wardrobe options. like the grandmother kept all her really fancy clothes or like goes to events that are formal things where it doesn’t make sense for the younger dolls go to.from what I remember a few of the parents have jobs would require glamorous outfits.

Antique shops are my favorite places to get Barbie stuff! Not too long ago, I managed to find a mint condition original Barbie from the 1960's with clothing and a case!

I have the Enchanted Evening Repro Barbie and she is one of my absolute favorites. She stays on my shelf with my collection of authentic vintage retro Barbies. She is one of the best to have in your collection! ❤️
You would be amazed at what I've found at thrift stores for dolls. Once I found a #4 ponytail vintage barbie for $0.50 naked of course but in good shape. (And I just checked and I actually have the same repro doll as you that I forgot I had lol) Not to mention I've gotten big bags of barbie clothes and accessories for $10 each and sometimes a bag of 10 dolls for $10. I keep whatever I wanted out of the doll bags and clean up, dress and resale the other dolls. You should check out any regular thrift stores and find some dolls that could use a good restoration or even just a good home. ❤️

I have the one you got! Mine I got from a friend so she wasn't in her original packaging and I don't have the fur cape but she's one of my favorites! Glad I know which one she is now
Toya, maybe make a prom or Christmas party. Dress up is a must. 😁
And most of the characters are in high school so they have dances a couple times a school year and four years of school and all the characters definitely need to be decked out or as props for high end boutiques. So definitely need some show stoppers all the characters seem like they would want to go all out.

😎 I remember my cousin's had the Barbies like these. 1960 I was 2 years old. Thanks for showing us the mall and all the great dolls. My brother had GI Joe dolls back in the '60s that were the same size clothes as my Ken dolls. And late 60s I had Barbies that talked you pull the string on their back it was Barbie and Stephanie and all their friends was really neat. Thanks for helping with the memories. I bet it would be cool to get some of those old vintage patterns for Barbie clothes.😍🐞🤗

Yay I have been wanting you guys to do this for a REALLY long time!!!! You guys should also find old barbies that Aren’t in very good condition and fix them up in a modern kinda way! It would also be SUPER cool if you guys find really old barbies and review them! My other suggestion is you guys could react to retro Barbie commercials from like the 1960s I have been looking at them recently and it’s so interesting!

I have my own Barbie collection and I didn’t know I had a Breyer horse until you showed me the sea, and I had to go check. It was a Breyer horse btw. TYSM! This helped soo much!

8:22 that is a western winkin barbie from the mid 70s! She's known for looking a bit... off. The plastic they used for the eyelids would often 'melt' to the plastic of the head from time, so theres very few that look good today haha
My bestie had her aunt's Barbies and we played with them growing up. She had the original pink evening dress, stole, gloves, etc and the Barbie that you found. Brought back memories!!

I love that era of Bratz as well! I didnt know you liked them too! I have never been into them until last year when I found a Study Abroad Jades poncho and I started hunting from there. I appreciate the older bratz but I love those ones from 2015-16, their eyes are different and I really dig their clothing. I would have bought the two in box Bratz and the fashion pack. Man I wish I was there!!! Also, I already have that Moxie Teenz pack but it was a steal at 15, they go for 40+ on ebay.

Those 90s era Star Trek Barbie & Ken sets were retail of around $80 but you could get them on clearance from Toys R Us for the pair for $19.99! I split a set with a 90s era Barbie customizer, he took the dolls I got the outfits. We each spent $10 for our part.

I recently found some lovely chairs from my local thrift store (it's legit a few minutes from the station) and all under 30$. Best find was an Ikea Proang chair for 15$. It lives rent free in my room and is the seat for my bjd(aka the host for the sleep paralysis demon 😆).

i thrifted all my barbie ornaments and had a pink barbie christmas tree this past year! it was my DREAM TREE. i made myself a cute garland with beads and had a specialty barbie tree topper too!

I love the retro repros because I like to play with my dolls and I don't mind playing with repros if I get them at a good price. I do play with my childhood dolls by which I mean changing their clothes and setting scenes. I love all of the My FroggyStuff crafts that you do but I can't keep up!
