To answer your question, yes Malaysians do eat char kuey teow here in Malaysia. In fact, it is very famous food throughout the country.
Wow thank you so much for answering! Do Malaysians also put fish cakes into it too?
@jiyeon TV for homemade we put everything ..fish ball, fish cake, meatball, crab, sausage
@@JiyeonTV_jiyeoncita it really depends on the person tbh some stalls put fish cakes and some don’t
Wow so the restaurant was for real for real! The taste felt very familiar so I was like maybe it’s not authentic? 🤔but guess sure it was!
@@JiyeonTV_jiyeoncita it’s a chinese cuisine btw i guess that is why it tastes familiar to koreans
There are a lot of good and delicious Malaysian food. If u are in Malaysia, we will bring u and let u try each and every cuisine from Malay, Chinese and Indian food here. It’s Malaysian hospitality
Oh my god! yessss I can't wait to visit after the COVID!

Awww Terima kasih atas semua maklumat 💛
seems familiar and pap! just remembered she's in Blimey's video 😝
Since you know Jade, Yerim and Dasol, you can ask them to make some of Malaysia food for you and also teh tarik. They can cook it.🥰
I really should! and ask them to share the recipe too :) 💛
5:04 Answer to your question:
Yes, almost all Malaysian love to eat fishcake (Odeng). We put fishcake in Char kueyteow or Fried Beehoon too.
I think there is handmade fishcake in Malaysia too. Malaysia is multiracial country, there is chinese, malay, indian and more races. Maybe you feel familiar because Char kueyteow is Chinese cuisine🤔
I'm glad you like Malaysian dishes👍🏻 There are actually more dishes to explore haha
Omg I didn't know that! I was so curious and thank you for answering my question :)
yeah when I tried them each I was like.. this tastes like.. Chinese? Thai? Korean? Indonesian? haha now I know why! thank you again💛

To get good Malaysia varieties of food will need to come to Malaysia because this country has multi race of people with majority of malay, Chinese and Indian and so with different race of people there are so many many variety of food to go for and maybe take uncountable of days to try all different varieties of food and drink and so may dessert to go for and you won't be to stop eating in this country where you can try all type foods from breakfasts to lunch then dinner and if you want more then go for midnight supper which some restaurant open for 24 hour.
As Malaysian I personally have tried Malaysian cuisine in Europe and Asia (other than Malaysia), I think we still could maintain the authentic Malaysian taste in Asian countries... probably because the restaurant could easily get ingredients that are commonly used in Malaysia than other parts of the world 😊
Yeah and probably they made it for Koreans so maybe put a bit of mixture tastes in it? But it was still good :)
Omg you're so pretty😍 love From Malaysia❤️
Omg you're so sweet 💛
Cutee

Anionhaseyo I'm blimey army lol 😅..nice video 👍 done subscribe...
Yes Jiyeon you are correct its not authentic mainly like what you said its catered more towards a koreans taste locally. But you have to try the real thing in Malaysia. Its truly malaysian authentic food especially the penang char kueh teow (origin of this local fried flat rice noodles the best in one of malaysia states called Pulau Pinang or Penang in english its one of a kind and does not taste like pad thai : ). As for the Laksa hmm still malaysia have a few varieties 1. Curry Laksa 2. Assam Laksa 3. Nyonya Laksa so must try only in malaysia! Do make a trip to malaysia for vacation and look, see, feel, taste for yourself! You will be amazed! Cheers!
Oh my god! Yes! I was right! It is always hard to find the authentic dishes in Korea. I really should go to Malaysia and try everything out! I will for sure after the COVID. PROMISE 💛
Love both of u!!! So lovely…more content about malaysia😊🌹
Any recommendations? hehe

Satay,Laksa (various types),char kuey teaw, lontong, teh tarik, milo iced,Ramly burgers, Roti John, mee tarik...well alot more..u should come to Malaysia..taste them original
I really should! ugh covid..
i won't say it's not authentic but halal (meaning pork free)... take char kuey teow for example, in malaysia, the non-halal version they put chinese sausage, prawn, cockle & some pork lard too which makes it even tastier
There are many more nice malaysian food you should try out... stay longer in malaysia & you will know why malaysia it's a food heaven
Thank you! Omg I will I need to experience the heaven for sure! :)
You Should Try Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng! Roti Canai Telur Bawang Garing!

the plates and bowls design is very malaysian, usually chinese households use them (im using one now too!)
Wow! We were right! It looked so cool and very different from the ones in other restaurants in Korea :)
2:39 so what do want, Malaysian food or Malaysian guys? If you are here to eat, just eat, or are you looking for some guy to buy you some char kuey teow and pick you up?

Hello from Malaysia 👋 you should try nasi lemak
Okay! next time for sure!
The foods are addictive 😁
I know right 😁
So true! As a Malaysian, the food in Agak agak is not really authentic for me 😂 Please try The Makan (더 마칸) at Jamsil! Especially the Nasi lemak there!
Oh my god! My friend told me that place is more legit. I decided to go to this place since it's closer but yesss I should go 더 마칸 next time :)
Char kway teow, u can order spicy, if u want chilli..Usually, i will order it spicy..Real char kway teow has a "wok hei" flavour, aromatic, deep flavour
Teh tarik, gosh, u missed the Pull effect bubble since they serve it like that..
We can eat Super spicy food, even Korean samyang spicy chicken x2, its ok spicy for me only..
if you want spicy, you need to let the chefs know, as they probably Mild it for the general public..
You just have to come to Malaysia to try the real thing!! (haha)
Omg Spicy! that would be my next order. Samyang spicy chicken is SPICY. I did not know you guys eat spicy too! I can't wait to try. I really need to just go to Malysia and try everything out!!!
Keropok is way way older and original than Nachos 😆. But yes, you can say its a Malaysian version of Nachos. Also Char Kuey Teow also predates Pad Thai. However as many people have been to Thailand, Pad Thai is more famous globally. ✌🏻😊
I was right! Malysian version of Nachos it was sooo good! It's so interesting that there are so many similar dishes across the world. I am craving Keropok now..
excelente video jiyeon 🥰

Yesss! Eating out in Malaysia is almost every day... For me, 3 times daily n hardly for me to cook at home except the rice... Huhu USD 4-5 will get me a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner...
@@JiyeonTV_jiyeoncita yes, it can be cheaper than 4$ if you eat at stall, char kuey teow with prawn n teh tarik cost less than 10 ringgit, which is less than 3 usd dolar...
Kerupuk bkn keropok
