My dad moved across the country back home after working on the west coast for about 6 years. He wanted to get back into the automotive industry because he's been working on cars for >20 years. I ask if he wants to work something out with the shop owner that I was working for. He does, and he and I are basically tearing through all the work that needed to be done at that shop, way more than just one guy could accomplish by himself. The first few weeks were great, but somewhere along the line we weren't seeing any profit coming through. We were busting our asses for this dude, and eventually seeing nothing for it. My dad's a really non-confrontational guy, and he figured if we just waited long enough we'd get paid. We never did, though. About a month went by like this. One night I'd had enough and I called up my buddy to ask if we could use his truck to grab my dad's tools and toolbox from the property. It's like 11PM and we're out DEEP in the country, quietly sneaking on and off the property to grab my dad's stuff. The shop manager was also an ex-cop who had a drug problem and owned a LOT of guns, so needless to say we both were in the full swing of a serious adrenaline rush.

She gave it back and my brother was happy I recovered his bike. We knew it was his becuz it had the same serial number. Fuck thieves.
