And there again, at 2:30, the giants step on the apples, causing Wotan the other gods to age again. I'll have to look into the links between Freia and Idun as characters, see if they're possibly the same character known by different names and emphases in different times and places of Norse culture.
0:18 Freia looking way too thicc for her own good
I like these. But Loge could have looked a less conehead.
THIS IS S MASTERPIECE!!
Thanks for sharing these animated operas :D Really, really appreciated (particularly The Magic Flute, as it was one I saw mant years ago)
Same, it's much better when you actually know what they are saying!
Awesome! Thanks for posting these
I think I'd prefer the lyrics to be the original German. Subtitles may have been better
I suppose this was made to entice children to know opera, and very young children can't read subtitles...
@Nathan Alonzo WTF is going on here? Is this video being flooded by bots?
I feel like cartoonists in the 80's just thought leotards were going to be a way bigger deal
Everybody gangsta till the big man turns into a serpent to flex upon you.

The animated characters were drawn in an interesting manner, but Freia could have dressed more modestly.
The animation and the English translation are really, really cringe.
