These aren’t the basketball shoes. There are two QNTM and QNTM BSKTBL, unlike the first colorway to release the shoes wont release in the same colorways anymore. Differences between the two are probably comparable to the Air Fear of God 1s and Air Fear of God SA.

When they were first releasing back in All Star week I was like wtf are these. But then seeing them in person (copped on Adidas) I ended up liking them. I'm a fan of how these look from a birds eye view lol I know you hate them but they actually look dope

I dont know how you are able to make shoes interesting, but you do it sir. As always, I appreciate your perspective. This color way does look worn. Kind of gives me Off-white 5s vibes in that way. Samson Hman possibly... I put money on it that if Travis Scott did a shoe or interview in them, they’d skyrocket. But, for now 🤷🏾♂️ I love mine. I wear them when I ride my motorcycle and that heel reflective just POPS at traffic behind and they are mad sturdy for riding too. I’m definitely watching in the cut like a lion on a pack of gazelles bc if the resale continues to drop, I’m copping at least one more pair.
Yeah fuck resellers I'm glad there's not really any value in them like they thought. I want a pair but couldn't get them because of these idiots who don't even want them. I think they're 🔥 and just like the reviewer said, they definitely put a lot of thought into this sneaker and did one helluva job!! Just got these in. My second favorite model only falling to the 750. These feel nice. It was great to see you pick up on the basketball tech on the shoe. Love the channel!!
Been waiting for a review of these. Glad to know that they dropped the lifestyle/performance differences and just decided to make all the bariums the performance one. Less confusion and easier to hunt for. What I do wish adidas do next is release an all black Colorway, not a fan of these earthy tones, just like the plain colors lmao

These are the "Barium" colorway. There's the QNTM Lifestyle, The QNTM Basketball, and the QNTM Barium. The QNTM Basketball is the lifestyle color version without a ton of 3M and a clear midsole cage. There's 3 total QNTMs. I think he mistook this for the basketball version.

Thanks for reviewing these Chris! Completely agree on the marketing issues, so confusing the way they rolled these out. Was excited to hoop in my pair but I was pretty disappointed by how bad the heel slip is, and I'm in my true to size. Not a fan of the sewn-in tongue either, no adjustability in the fit. Too beefy and wide for me but that's just preference. That being said I'm so happy with them aesthetically. Such a unique shoe that looks great with the right outfits.

Yezzy's shoe line is over rated and don't come in big sizes, I wear a 14/15. So to me they just over hyped Boost & I love Boost. Basically it started off as a lifestyle/casual shoe. At a certain point they really wanted to put it on court too and so they started to re-engineer it to also have basketball sneaker specifications and tooling. Took roughly 3 or so years for them to finalize it all the way.

I think their cool asf. I hit on a raffle ama hold for a long time because these are pretty special to me for several reasons. These are the first Yeezy "hype" I copped.. these might just stay in my collection forever

Nice review. Best look I've gotten if either Quantum so far. The on foot was 🔥, in that you can actually see the shoe instead of these lames covering them with bellbottoms
These shoes are super comfortable. 1 thing I have against it is the thin neoprene collar. Sometimes that thing digs into the back of my leg, though maybe that’s just because my leg’s swollen from just being broken. We’ll see in a couple months
I’m a big fan of these. I bought a size 10.5 I’m actually a size 10. I thought this would run small like regular yeezys, but I’m happy with the overall feel. I can’t even lie when I say this...but that’s The first and only Yeezy I really, really, genuinely like where I’m very willing to pay resell for it. Yeah, I think this may be due to my Jordan Brand/basketball design bias, but those Yeezys are dope!! AND, Boost finally back on Adidas’ hoop shoes??
I managed to get 2 pairs and on foot to me they look better and I feel these are wide foot friendly.
@Chris - you were referring to the Jordan Ultrafly as those got the Kurim upper.

Can you give a comparison of your other shoe sizes? What do you wear in ultra boost and 350v2 ? What do you wear in Nike basketball shoes? What size is this qntm?
From what I've heard and seen, this colorway is a mixture between the lifestyle and basketball version. It has the plastic covering that the lifestyle version doesn't have but it also doesn't have the ankle support that the basketball version has.
This is the basketball version per the designer of the shoe. But we’ll let him know that the internet thinks he’s wrong about the product he created.
Love the review as always but the only thing I'll say is to go up 1/2 because that's what I did and it fits me perfect.
See this is what I mean, be said he's happy that he why TTS and they fit him perfectly and you say go up a half a size. I see this so many times and confusing 😵

It's funny you said that about low socks bro that was my only complaint, even with higher socks it hurt, until they broke in.
