Very well explained!! Thanks!! But where is the money which is for the head office actually going ? It can’t be transferred to the U.S right ? So where exactly is this untaxed money ?
A quick question- If there is a head office that is basically a ghost, but physically (literally) receives money from the Apple Sales International, that too in the Billions, then it has to have bank account(s). So, keeping that in mind, wouldn't the physical location of the bank account(s) attract any tax in that particular legal jurisdiction? even if that tax is meagre compared to the US ?? Amazing explanation, btw, Thanks for that !!
it's not just the international profits but the overall profits are not taxed at all because it's all being send to ireland who only have 12.5% corporate tax instead of 21% tax in america so apple in any part of the world is left with only money who's gonna be used to finance their growth and salary expenses that is tax deducted and could possibly grant them tax rebate

no why apple chose ireland with 12.5% tax rate instead of bahamas who literally have 0% corporate tax rate ? because ireland is an EU member and EU is well known to penalize companies especially who do not pay their taxes and having a country that participates in the EU council means apple would be protected from any penalties or sanctions by the EU because ireland is on their side

I have the same question, where does the money go and won't that also be revenue?
