The craziest part is that he's still pretty young, 29 years old. And he's already shown potential at 205 lbs. I feel if things don't work out at MW, he can always jump to 205 where I believe his power will really shine. Great win for Marvin, they were counting this man to lose against rising contender Roman.

Marvin, Gilbert and Geoff Neal are all fighters that have grown on me. These guys, even though may lose a couple times, are still absolute savages. They make the UFC, the people's champ.
@ComingToATheaterNearYou Geoff has health issues and still is battling health issues, it's public knowledge. I'm not sure how being ill gives you an advantage. Dana White knew Geoff was sick and took the fight regardless. That's why Dana gave Geoff and Shavkat "fight of the night" bonuses. Normally when you miss weight, you don't get bonus. But when you're sick and still fight, you get respect and bonus.

Here are the numbers: Vettori total shots-106 (49% of 218) vs Dolidze total shots-71 (37% of 192). Marvin is a cardio machine, to which this time he has added some great kicks, . Objectively, Roman did very little, he shot some "overhands", not too precise, and for the rest we know Marvin's chin...!!!! That 30-27 surprised me, but in any case Marvin Vettori adds another victory to his Palma Res...!!!! Go Marvin Go...!!!
Good adjustment from Vettori, Dolidze started strong but as soon as Vettori started dodging and blocking those overhands, Dolidze looked lost.

Was watching this live before and I am so confused as to why he was getting booed by the crowd. I'm a Brit and I got no idea why they booed him. Felt pretty bad for the guy tbh with his mum being there and he had fought a good hard fight.
Edit: Loads of people saying that Marvin lost that fight.... ain't no way he lost. He wore the damage more in the face but Roman was outclassed in kickboxing easily. Check the stats, r3 Marvin landed 2x the strikes. I had money on Roman and there is no way he won. 🤣

Roman dominated Marvin for all 3 rounds and significantly redecorated his face when didn't even have a scratach himself. Dolidze was so confident that he won this fight that he didn't go for a kill which he should have done considering blatant UFC judges' trickery.

After his loss to Whittaker, Vettori matured significantly; he went to Thailand and focused on improving his kicks; he won against Dolidze because of his kicks; Marvin only grows and becomes a more complete fighter than he already is. It was my first UFC live event this weekend and one thing I noticed is people at the arena and people who watched at home have two different opinions on how the fights went. Everyone inside felt like Martin lost. And majority of people also thought usman edged it perhaps just goes to show it’s very diff
