I discovered that if you apply a noise filter layer onto the drawing, the results will be fantastic! Using dry textured brushes also gives much better results. Just to add on, you can create a new image layer, fill it with white, then add a noise filter. Use the Opacity adjustment to control the amount of noise on the sketch and watch the wild results appear. Changing the models/checkpoint types also gives a wide variety of results.

Right mouse click on the paint layer 2 and select Add - Add Filter Mask - Choose the last option "Other" drop down triangle and choose Random Noise. Bring it to level 99. Is there a A1111 version of this please?
Not that I’m aware of as yet, but do let me know if you find one!
After allowing Krita to install ComfyUI, is it possible to use ComfyUI independently of Krita and what would the steps be? Is it just a matter of configuring run_nvidia_gpu.bat properly?
I would imagine you could, yes
how lauch comfy? which file should I run in folder ai_diffusion?
If you already have ComfyUI installed, simply start it as normal. You don’t need the web page open. If not, the app manages it for you.
Why is it so slow when I generate it? It doesn’t update in real time like you demonstrated.
Older cards like the 980ti will indeed take a second, or maybe 2, longer
Is this plug-in open source? It’s completely free and no signature is required.
My suggestion would be to check the license to see if it’s compatible with whatever your requirements are 😃
Please answer: how to *SAVE RESULTS?* I dont see any options for saving. Where is it?
“File - save” is the typical way after you’ve sent your image over
@@NerdyRodent it saves my drawing, not generated image
@@NamikMamedov yes, it will only save as normal so remember to send whatever you want to save over first
@@NerdyRodent I am sorry, could you make it more clear? Where should I click on generated image to save it? I can't find it in output folder either
@@NamikMamedov tricky to say in text, but basically like I show in the video. The icon is quite smol!
Do you know? Could this be done just in Comfy? That way I could set-up a camera, run the workflow through Touchdesigner which would mean I could draw the things on paper, instead of a computer.
Yup, there’s the canvas live paint node but obviously nowhere near as advanced as KritA
great video but wondering if it can work on 4gb vram?
Probably but not as quickly, maybe if you stick to a 512x512 canvas.
how to make comfy manager show up???????????????
Make sure you’ve installed it first - github.com/ltdrdata/ComfyUI-Manager
If i install the plugin creator server, how much will the server weigh?
How much did it weigh to start with?
@@NerdyRodent no, my problem is that i have 50 gb free in my hard disk and i cant delete anything atm... so i wanted to know the server's weight to know if I have enough space.
Oh, you mean how much disk space does it need? Yeah, 50gb should be fine
may i know your computer spec to get this instant reponse from the ai ? i did a try with my computer , but the performance is awful....>.
For any AI stuff at home you’re best with a GPU from the last 5 years. Something like a 980ti will work, but could take a couple of seconds
i have a question, can you turn the heads around and the whole character around? it would be great for consistent characters for picture stories!
krita says ipadaptor plugin is missing even if its installed... do any1 else have this problem or how to fix it?
nvm, maybe needed update comfyui... installed as localserver in krita option and moved all needed files to custom installation... now it works
do I need 15G GPU? or works with any paid server?
I am using 4GB vram laptop and it works brother. the live option is a little slow but works.
Fantastic integration. Is possible to have character and environment consistency when you move a skelethon node?
Pushing it a bit with sd 😉
This is really good, I've been using krita extension in automatic1111 for 3 months and my workflow has improved but this one on comfyui is the next level. Do you know if I could use this extension not interfering with automatic1111?
Yes, this is totally independent of a1111
there's nothing like this but with a1111? im afraid if i install comfyUI i'll end up with the whole SD+controlNet installed on my PC twice for no reason when someone less ignorant might know how to point the two different frontends to the same models
Symlinks / the ComfyUI config file, are your friend!
it seems for me that it takes a really long time. is it normal ?
It’s about 0.5s render time normally, like in the video
@@NerdyRodent i cannot run it on my gpu, it says it cannot launch the server. I tried updating the drivers of my NVIDIA, it didn't work either. Is it because my gpu is too old? Because when i launch it on my cpu, it launches but do not work. Thanks in advance if you know the awnser !
Yup, something like an old 960 will struggle at best. Something from within the last 5 years is best.
@@NerdyRodent no i'm not this far, i have a GeForce on my laptop it should work. But i gave up and deleted the files to have some Space. It's unfortunate but maybe i'll try again one day
When I try to connect to my Comfyui installation I get an error about missing Controlnet preprocessors, but I have them. In the client.log file I don't see any useful information.. any idea? :(
I got the same issue, after trying several types of controller(inpaint), it works.
Not working - Error: Connection refused [url= ... prompt, code=1]
Everything is cool and beautiful... it's just a pity that in Linux Krita's plugin doesn't support AMD GPUs. You can get around this by installing your own Comfy UI server... but it's too much of a challenge for me. There is no A to Z guide on how to do all this.
One a to z guide: How to Install ComfyUI in 2023 - Ideal for SDXL! ua-cam.com/video/2r3uM_b3zA8/v-deo.html - just remember to install rocm PyTorch 😉
@@NerdyRodent Unfortunately, I'm not a software engineer. The only thing I was able to do was install python and rocm, and then I think I ran CmfyUI... all by pasting lines of code from the Internet into the console. Installing ComfyUI manager was beyond my capabilities... and without it I won't upload Controlnet and so on. The "instructions" I found on the Internet are completely incomprehensible to me. I'm a graphic designer, not a programmer 😅
@@veritaspk that’s fine, this is just basic commands that anyone can run 😀 if you need even more help than the step-by-step video, you can drop me a DM on patreon!
Cảm ơn video đã hướng dẫn tôi cặn kẽ, tôi đã có thể chạy được chương trình và bắt đầu vẽ, khá là vui vẻ.
Assistant AI Plugin as a mini assistive Drawing for people with Visual impairment, such as I would be extraordinarily benefits, by removing the obstacle-course I had to deal with lapsed Hand to eye coordination, all my life, up till now. I thank you for the tutorial, better get busy creating!
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Dude, I don't know who you are, but you're definitely the coolest and most inventive process maker👏
Insane!
Just mindblowing! I'm so excited with this AI in design! As well with KDE, meaning that anybody shouldn't pay for Adobe anymore
nice
😵💫Awesome

What's the purpose of pretending to draw an owl when you can just use text to image and do it instantly
"Draw the rest of the funny owl"... *draws cat-bird*
TL/DW: There's absolutely no reason to learn how to draw any longer

YOU GAVE THE WRONG WAY TO UNPACK THE FILES IN THE WRONG LOCATION!!!! Sorry, it's been a very long few days figuring that out
