After watching this, all I did was forcefully push a credit card through the paper jam, which then triggered the sensor...and hey presto! It sorted the problem! :-) And I didn't have to use oil or dismantle the machine. Very pleased that I watched this video :-)
My shredder runs in reverse but no sound of running in auto. I put a credit card in sideways which caused the problem. It is cleaned out. Now what should I do?
It doesn't hinge like is shown in some of the pictures in the video. There are 6 screws on the bottom you can remove to get the top off and access to the blades. One of them is hidden under the warranty/quality control sticker
