My nani cried her heart out today, she used to live a lane behind her house in mid 70s in Bombay, she really wished to meet her in private, but guess some wishes aren’t fulfilled ever. I agree the present singers have outstanding voices (Sunidhi, Atif, Shreya, Zubin, Arijit) but we don't have those fantastic Hindi/Urdu song-writers of that capability anymore. This song is great for many reason no doubt (Latajis singing, SJK's music & melody) but foremost its the words that stand out. The philosophy behind these simple words.
