    Glad to see this is still rolling :) :) I appreciate the idea that I may have to figure out my role on any individual's path, but they should *all* be on a path to transcendence.

      So kind of you, Shay. Hopefully spreading these ideas makes positive education more of a reality for many people.

    Wow super insightful, Thank you for uploading this!
    Just a request for the next one... Can we have better than 480P so it looks better on the big monitor :-)

    • @yaymath
      @yaymath  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for the feedback. You're right. I believe the 480p has to do with how it was shot. I'll keep it in mind for all future videos.

    Being lost can be very depressing. Sarcasm says "I don't care about your pain. I care about being funny and therefore popular."

    If I had teachers that gave even a third of an effort this guy does with his kids, who cared about teaching and learning and was not in it for the holidays and weekends off, hell maybe I could have understood better and gotten better grades and gotten into a better college and not have to do this BS I am doing now.
    My teachers wrote off not understanding as not trying hard enough. As being lazy. I was good in all subjects except math. I loved science, but then math got in the way. I was hopeless. I know this because that is what the tutors told me. I remember a lesson on matrices. The teacher came in, spoke and wrote an example super fast and left after only a few minutes. Everyone else went to work. I was still trying to catch the wind.
    Well, it is done for me. But at least a new generation of kids will have a shot as long as there are more teachers like this guy, although I am sure he is an outlier.
