LOVE Van TREKKNG videos. Love your music! Curry Hammock is one of my favorite places. Owen, when you started talking about falling coconuts...I started laughing. Our fist time using our camper, we had to snowblow it out in Maine, traveled all the way to Curry Hammock. My boys were Middle school aged so we took a day and visited Key West for some educational oportunities. My youngest kept walking and bumping into us because he was always looking up. He all of a suden raddled off, "Do you know how many people are hit by falling coconuts each year...." He informed us of the %. He then said he was looking out for all of us. Thanks again for sharing your travels. The keys have become a yearly adventure for us. We are here now.

This video just hit me so satisfyingly... a perfect example of how a great day on the road might be a collection of this and that, nothing epic, but in total it just couldn't be beat! Owen, I really believe that if you were to post a regular video of you and your guitar treating us to a tune or two your viewers would be all in! This reminds me of when I attended the Kerrville Folk Festival in the early '80s with a bunch of friends. There were quite a few big names on the main stage but what we all remembered most fondly was strolling around the campground each night and enjoying the little campfire circles of amateur musicians jamming and enjoying life at its best!
This video was a lot of this and that but you are right it was a prefect day for us. Jamming around the campfire is one my favorite things I just need to get Owen on board, since he’s the one with all the talent.
You packed a lot into that one day at Curry Hammock and it sure looks like it was fun. Whenever you get to enjoy some of your favourite things, it's a good day. Hope you're all well - hugs for sweet Maggie!

Owen, I was so surprised when you started talking about how Lynn is your someone because at that very time and as I watched you two gliding through the water and through those tunnels I was thinking this about your adventures… “writing memories on the tablet of your mind that you’ll recall later when one of you is gone. Oh those sweet memories bring smiles upon your face as tears run down your cheeks as your heart begins to ache for your sweet someone who anxiously awaits for you to come and join them on your heavenly escape.” My wife and I are 68 and 70 respectively and we occasionally talk about if and when we find ourselves in that situation. You hug a little tighter, use kind words in conversations, and look deeper into each other’s eyes. Thanks for the video!

Great video! You managed to go listen to some singing and it was nice having Owen singing there as well. I love his singing and sing writing. He does it great of it. Those people there at the park were good. Nice you caught fish but Maggie went in to get the fish. Glad she was ok. Cute how how dogs go shake the water off of them. I love watching whatever y'all get up to b/c you do RV travel the way I'd love to if I had a travel partner! I love seeing the campgrounds you end up at and the places you walk, bike, and boat. And, of course, the adorable Maggie! I particularly enjoy that y'all camp mostly in the southeast and not out west, b/c you're showing places I might actually be able to go to! Thanks for all the work you put into these videos :-)

Thanks again for an enjoyable video. We were at Curry Hammock three days in a February and loved it at site 9. Superb facilities and super maintained rest room showers. Didnt realize they had kayak rental wish I knew. We liked Marathon as the best of the keys not as crowded. Used Bring Fido to find lots of options for patios allowing pups. Funky Bongo's Botanical Beer Garden, a great Fish Island, well known Sunset bar and Burdines. Also the Oceanfront park with short waterview trail and dog park. Loved the “return” images to our favorite keys location.
Thanks for the reminder to use Bring Findo. When we search for places we always look to see if they have outdoor seating that allow dogs, “Bring Findo” might be easier.

I do feel comfortable driving the Ekko. We love the extra room in the Ekko but we still miss the Revel and the reliability… it just looks tougher too.

Do you have ceramic tint on your Ekko? Having it installed on my B van on Tuesday as I get ready for my trip!
