for real man, used to play this orignally on the PS2. Could only get up to mission 6 (fuel plant) and my game would always freeze as my disc was scratched. Managed to finish it once I got an Xbox 360. Multiplayer was a lot of fun too, buggy but fun.
KestrelAviation it’d be amazing on PC. There’s a couple of Facebook groups for it and we organise games that are full. You won’t randomly come across a full game unless it’s organised unfortunately but the full games are fun. I’d recommend joining
Before the start of the battles : McCullin: Two rules. Rule 1 you're no good to me dead. Rule 2.. Uugh what difference does it make? , you'll probably end up all dead anyway.. Hux: Well that's surely inspiring.. Dix: You want inspiration Huxley? read a poem... At the end: Guzzo: I'm Guzzo. 1 Rule; you're no good to me dead. Pvt: What kinda pep talk was that? Hux: You want inspiration private? Read a poem.. The conversation had Huxley and Dixon at the start of the game, after the little talk by McCullin in the truck, had also Hux and a new private in the end, after Guzzo's talk. The best cod of all time I think. Needs a remaster!!
Ok. Lissenup. Today we are on a top secret mission to get coffee and donuts. Problem is Germans drank all the coffee and ate all the donuts. So now we gotta go kick their asses
Ren Shinomiya have you heard of Cod WW2,cod blackops 3 and blackops 4 I mean is the story of those games and even i include ghost as well Advance war has some decent story (not biasing because i literally played the game)
Played this as a kid and I had so many amazing memories. Not only was this my first COD, it was my first online game because I didn't own many electronics. The game has always felt homey and the memories I shared with online friends I will never forget. If you're out there TOP Dawg 22 22 22, HOOTMCKRACKEN, SomeMedication, Mizu NINJA, Gothicgirl, Axe me, MarineDj, mdlee88, G3656528855, RAMROD, Aprovedmufin, Good Ol Boy, Shelledwharf, MobettaGretta, and many others, Thank you! Thank you for making each and every lonely Friday night a friendly and nostalgic experience. Hope this game gets remastered and we can all reunite one day - doctor who 121 (If you're out there, thanks for helping me through tougher times, love u guys like a brother✌✌) I'm 19 now and I've been playing since 2008, wish the 360 servers still worked...
Treyarch doesn’t get enough credit for basically starting the trend of giving CoD games actual stories. The early Infinity Ward CoD games (CoD 1 and CoD 2), while arguably better in terms of mission variety and entertaining pacing (never staying in the same place for too long, swapping between locations/characters to keep things interesting), didn’t really have all that much in terms of story. They had characters, who you may or may not remember, but it was never personal, just your squad doing a tour through a few famous battles, the story basically serving more as a vehicle to put you in these iconic battles than as an actual story. In other words, the focus was always on the missions, with the “story” and characters being only the loosest possible framework to hold those missions together. The early Treyarch games (Big Red One and CoD 3), while arguably clumsy and dated in execution story-wise, broke new ground by focusing a little more on their characters and trying to give the player a more personal connection with the squad. Sure, most of the characters were just basic stereotypes and not all that complex, but they were *characters* with personalities, their own motivations, and dynamics with other characters. Treyarch’s choice to narrow the scope of their early games to focus more on one thing (BRO following only one squad, and CoD 3 telling the story of one specific place in the war from a few different perspectives) definitely took away from the variety that the early Infinity Ward games had, but what they gained in return was the first true storytelling and character-building in the series. It’s fine to point out that the stories of BRO and 3 were clumsy at times, that the characters weren’t all that unique, and that the missions didn’t have the same variety as the IW games. But it’s important to appreciate that these early Treyarch games walked so that the stories and characters of later games like the MW Trilogy, World at War, and the Black Ops games could run. These early Treyarch games, while not advancing the series in gameplay as much as the early IW games did, advanced the series’ ability to tell stories and give us memorable characters. These games might not be perfect compared to later ones, but I really appreciate them for what they did at the time and am glad they exist. They were also many people’s first CoD games and helped build the fanbase up, keeping the series going, and making the *event* that was CoD 4’s online possible. They were very important games in the evolution of the series, and I don’t think they get nearly enough credit for that.
this was my 3-4 cod (first was finest hour damn good game , second was big red one and cod 1 for pc then it was the cod 3 but i loved all of them and still love them)
I was actually playing this game this morning lol ,first time I played it was believe it or not when I was 4 (2007) on Xbox 360,I would just be stuck on the first level running around at the camp :-)
I remember when I was younger and I’d be running around the camp looking at everything clueless as to what I have to do meanwhile Dixon is standing there constantly repeating himself “guys, there’s Nazi’s wearing helmets too. What do you say we go find ‘em? Gather up weapons and ammo and get on that truck. Move!” And I’m there trying to get in the jeep and shoot friendlies 😂
This is my favourite game and a game that will stays my favourite for ever... After 13 years.... I still remember it when it first came out in 2006. I was 6... one day I will buy it again and play it again! I promise myself this! 💜
See the franchise of call of duty has changed over the years, from feeling like the main hero, dominating and doing all the work, to the CPU in the newer call of duties getting way to advanced to where they do the work for you, which is the problem with alot of them. A great example is call of duty ww2 where there is alot of problems here. Yes, from the random rocket deaths in the main story, to the cpu doing all the work, the auto-aim is way to weak, it should just snap onto the enemy target. Like in call of duty 3. The 2005-2007 was like the best year for COD. I wish we had the combination of ww2 graphics with the mechanics and open-ness of call of duty 3 combined to provide the ultimate experience. I loved that feeling where you could feel the tension in call of duty 3, like you were making progress, but also you could be killed fairly fast, you had to pay attention more compared to ww2. Plus to many cutscenes in ww2 and not enough affirmations from the fellow soldiers you fought with. Like dixon saying "nice work nichols!" Made you feel good as the soldier you were playing as. More quick time events and less fighting. Call of duty 3 is sooo nostalgic and awesome great graphics for the era! Sometimes a little to good to be honest. Those were the days.....
Props to Guzzo for surviving and becoming the new Sarge. His character archetype almost always gets killed off in these games. See Brooklyn from COD Big Red One and Polonsky from WaW.
this game has ne of my favorite game audio at the start of the game "we're on a secret mission to pick up coffee and donutes only problem the jerrys ate all the donutes and drank all the coffee"
Bearded Tattoo1 Dude i think you played too much Cod 2,3 and waw Watch some documentary or history about the so called "evil nazi" In war there is no good and evil Every country is evil (i mean by the allies like the rape of berlin, Bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki)(the reason why i include the bombing of the two japanese cities is because The japanese army surrender and the CIA intercept it and never inform the president soo there you now get it) And also the soviets that force the populous of the baltic and replace them with slavs Even the allies commit thesame (not really but its "evil" right?)massacre as the axis

Best COD Ever, I mean we are getting way to deep into the Future. The best Call Of Duty Game is this one, all the other COD Games Should be like this one.
Laurence Gorres that is ok. I don't judge people on their english. Other countries speak english not only america. I appreciate the effort in trying to speak my language.
At around 1:47:00, when I played this game, there was some weird thing that would happen where I would be getting hurt by nothing, while me and the rest of the Polish guys were heading to the house. I don't know if anyone else encountered this... bug? But I almost died a few times because of it.
Tasnim Alif Some ppl prefer the older ones based on their childhood the only reason why ppl don’t like the futuristic setting is bc that’s not what call of Duty was based off of its like they lost sight of what call of Duty stood for my first cod was Cod 2 big red one even though it’s 2017 I hoped that they would go back to their old formula for old times sake and they actually pulled it off
Even this game from 2006 its have best intro and exiting i like to buy xbox360 and play many games cause i need it for my life...you know video game makes our story of life just god know whats going on...
"Let's see your arm, throw a smoke grenade!" "Nice arm! Ah shit, Dixion is looking right at us.. uh, Great throw! You are all ready for jerry!" "Don't you say shit about the equipment I stole." God bless Call of duty 3
I remember not plugging in my memory card for this game so I would replay it from the start everytime I load it up...come to think of it thats kinda sad ;__;
It's nice to remember this game when it was new. Along with COD2 Big Red One these games were what I played back in the mid '00's. For some reason though watching these games compared to other game movies are funnier to watch. Maybe because the older titles seemed laxed and not so serious? I'm not sure.
I wish I could speak to the creators and voice actors and let them know how much of an impact their game had on my childhood
JA123 facts I played this on the Wii this was so fun 😭😭😭
for real man, used to play this orignally on the PS2. Could only get up to mission 6 (fuel plant) and my game would always freeze as my disc was scratched. Managed to finish it once I got an Xbox 360. Multiplayer was a lot of fun too, buggy but fun.
KestrelAviation Multiplayer still is fun. There’s plenty of organised online games still going ahead :)
JA123 that is mental. Would imagine it’s dead but ig you’ve got xbox one backwards compatibility so yeah. Shame it wasn’t on PC I’d still play it 😂
KestrelAviation it’d be amazing on PC. There’s a couple of Facebook groups for it and we organise games that are full. You won’t randomly come across a full game unless it’s organised unfortunately but the full games are fun. I’d recommend joining
I am still waiting for Huxley to give me five bucks he promised..
This was my first Call of Duty game... I still have the memories of playing with my brother. Good times
Before the start of the battles :
McCullin: Two rules. Rule 1 you're no good to me dead. Rule 2.. Uugh what difference does it make? , you'll probably end up all dead anyway..
Hux: Well that's surely inspiring..

The best cod of all time I think. Needs a remaster!!
# pale7 that bit nearly made me cry when I realised the roles were switched at the end 😭
Ok. Lissenup. Today we are on a top secret mission to get coffee and donuts. Problem is Germans drank all the coffee and ate all the donuts. So now we gotta go kick their asses
HA HA. one of the best lines!
Or we can just stay back at the base and eat those nice French rolls they got.
I said this when I was like six and I got grounded for it.
Yo wtf you just gave me flashbacks from
When I was younger playing the campaign about once a day. Miss those days
Me when there is WW2:
For how old this game is, the graphics for it on PS2 and PS3 were stunning.
John D. Hlad
Actually PS2,Original Xbox and Wii ports are a downgrade version of
Xbox 360 and PS3 ports.
Hey,Santorez!

Endless nights with this game on my veteran PS2 is all I dream of. Wish I could take back the old days.

pure nostalgia through my head.

Props to Guzzo for surviving and becoming the new Sarge. His character archetype almost always gets killed off in these games. See Brooklyn from COD Big Red One and Polonsky from WaW.

Ya, I upgraded to Xbox 360, now I'm going for PS4 Pro, the best game so far is da best
this game has ne of my favorite game audio at the start of the game "we're on a secret mission to pick up coffee and donutes only problem the jerrys ate all the donutes and drank all the coffee"
Yea that is a great line.
The beginning marching scene used to scare me cause it just showed how evil the nazi soldiers really were. And the music lol
ChrisCrossFilms OMG ME TOO it was scary af
Bearded Tattoo1 the "nazis" yeah but not all in wehrmacht. Learn something more about ww2
Bearded Tattoo1 Dude i think you played too much Cod 2,3 and waw
Watch some documentary or history about the so called "evil nazi"
In war there is no good and evil
Every country is evil (i mean by the allies like the rape of berlin,
Bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki)(the reason why i include the bombing of the two japanese cities is because
The japanese army surrender and the CIA intercept it and never inform the president soo there you now get it)
And also the soviets that force the populous of the baltic and replace them with slavs
Even the allies commit thesame (not really but its "evil" right?)massacre as the axis
Awesome video my brah
thank you!
yeah no problem. we should collab one day
When your parents don't want you to play violent video games, but you get good grades and tell them it's an E10 history education game.
This for me was the gateway game to the rest of the franchise
Ahh reminds me of the good ol' days when my game gone lagging for no reason and broke

+Gamematics somtimes in bad at english bacause im not American
Laurence Gorres that is ok. I don't judge people on their english. Other countries speak english not only america. I appreciate the effort in trying to speak my language.
This brings back so many memories
At around 1:47:00, when I played this game, there was some weird thing that would happen where I would be getting hurt by nothing, while me and the rest of the Polish guys were heading to the house. I don't know if anyone else encountered this... bug? But I almost died a few times because of it.

the call of duty where you actually had to have aim without scopes unless u has a sniper
This is my favourite
Btw my fav mission is the black baron
Cod 3 was so much fun to me back then
Awesome Gamematics
Idk why people say that "COD is too futuristic" or "COD is fucked up". I think every COD game is good. Even the "futuristic" ones.
Tasnim Alif Some ppl prefer the older ones based on their childhood the only reason why ppl don’t like the futuristic setting is bc that’s not what call of Duty was based off of its like they lost sight of what call of Duty stood for my first cod was Cod 2 big red one even though it’s 2017 I hoped that they would go back to their old formula for old times sake and they actually pulled it off
Gamwmatics your the best of the best :)
thanks so much!
24:38 "Ya drenched me, Doyle!"

That's like a real movie going back in history

Even this game from 2006 its have best intro and exiting i like to buy xbox360 and play many games cause i need it for my life...you know video game makes our story of life just god know whats going on...
My first first person shooter ever loved the Sten
"Let's see your arm, throw a smoke grenade!" "Nice arm! Ah shit, Dixion is looking right at us.. uh, Great throw! You are all ready for jerry!" "Don't you say shit about the equipment I stole." God bless Call of duty 3
I thought I played COD on my old PC all the way to World at War. Can't remember having CoD 3 at that time though? How come I missed this?
the game is not on pc ...
+odiamo tutti that explains it. thanks bud!
u welcome
I remember being salty when I found out that this game didn't have a PC release.
that's it keep up the good work with Call of Duty
Thanks!
cod big red one please
It is already done.
Gamematics almost
I love Call of duty games, cool bro👍👍
+Christian Salazar awesome!
I remember not plugging in my memory card for this game so I would replay it from the start everytime I load it up...come to think of it thats kinda sad ;__;
The thompson is the greatest machine gun ever
is it possible to play this game on PC, via emulator or something??
+POLORAS I don't think so....but not 100% sure.
It's nice to remember this game when it was new. Along with COD2 Big Red One these games were what I played back in the mid '00's. For some reason though watching these games compared to other game movies are funnier to watch. Maybe because the older titles seemed laxed and not so serious? I'm not sure.
+Tab 13 yea going back and playing them feels dated. Games have evolved so much and the short cuts they made back in the day are more obvious.
