Glad to see shadow Tyranitar getting some love! I run one as my lead in the master league and opponents always seem to underestimate just how much damage it can put out.
man you got me lol, i was kicking myself afterwards i should've thrown a move into the genesect before switching out, i had a suspesion with all that spice that there was a buzzwole in the back which is why i switched my dialga into genesect instead of gira lol, good game always with the crazy spice, love your content!
Hey Henry, I have been watching you since long now. Inspired from your videos i made my ultra league team(blastoise max bulk) and then great league team as well. Taking inspiration from your videos I wanna build myself a master league team as well ,referring to your f2p team, i equipped gyarados with the dragon breadth,aqua tail and crunch moveset, but cant decide the rest of the other two. Excadrill is probably the best choice for safe swap, but metagross, primarina ,snorlax and darkrai also seem to be a lot appealing and vaible options. I cant afford to waste my elite TMS and regret on it later. If you could help me decide my team including gyarados in it, that has as little weakness as possible. I would'nt be more happier. Thank you for your amazing videos :-)

I'm no Henry but I think out of the mons you mentioned, an ABB line with Gyarados lead, excadrill safe swap, and metagross close could be decent. You could also switch metagross and excadrill around. Gyarados doesn't have a great matchup against fairy's like Xerneas and Zacian because both dragon breath and crunch are resisted, and swapping excadrill into those would be dangerous because they both have access to fighting type coverage moves. I definitely wouldn't use darkrai, and Snorlax is decent in the Master League premier which isn't around this season. Good luck!
Yeah, unless you were planning on running Darkrai with the legacy move sludge bomb to surprise your opponents you would be very weak to fairy. I think Gyarados lead, excadrill and metagross would make for a pretty decent team. Your biggest weakness would be a master league Chesnaught or virizion lead (which is extremely rare to encounter)

With gyarados doing pretty well against the dragons, and excadrill basically the best mon in format and metagross being the fairy crusher. Might make a decent team for me. That was very informative, thanks!

It's definitely anti-meta, but it's super fun to use, especially when everyone relies so heavily on dialga :)

For a master league genesect ice, is x-scissor better than magnet bomb overall now?
Yes, I'm a big believer in x-scissor after the buff it got. Allows genesect a lot more neutral play. Magnet bomb really only helps with xern/zac

Yes
It’s quite good due to the fact that the Douse Drive can help counter Fire types as Genesect is a Bug/Steel Type which means it’s 2.56x weak to Fire but as you really don’t see a lot of Fire types but more Dragon types in the Master League is why the Chill Drive is rated higher in PvPoké it’s good but the Chill and Shock is better

I don’t want to be ABA weak to a mewtwo lead, so nihilego and buzzwole are in the back as they pair decently well together besides struggling against M2
