Pastor Taylor, thank you for this word. I can feel the Holy Spirit within you. I just want to share a little bit of my crazy story. I haven’t had a perfect life and no one has. I’ve done alot of things that I knew were wrong. Trigger warning, (mental illness) a week after my 21st birthday I was arrested while I was at university and hospitalized for six long days and diagnosed with bipolar and psychosis. But I was suffering with far more mental illnesses than just that. Like erotomania (I was obsessing completely over my professor) anxiety, and depression. I’m 23 now and I’m still battling. Everyday. Right now I’m wide awake because I can’t sleep because of the mania induced most likely from stress. Stress that I won’t amount to anything because of my disorder. Stress that god will be unhappy with me. Stress that I won’t find love. Stress that no one will like the art the i produce. Stress that my business won’t go well. Stress that I won’t be able to get the degrees I’ve been hoping to get. Just so much stress.
I think it’s so funny because I actually visited Texas one time in my life and it was (trigger warning) when my cousin was killed in Houston at 20 years old. I was 18. My mental illness symptoms started soon after that.
Pastor, ever since I found your church online i have given my soul back to Jesus. And he’s blessing me so much with wonderful ideas, ideas where I could change the world I hope! But at the same time I’ve watched my older sister abuse drink herself into oblivion multiple times since my dedication. I feel pressure on my mind and depression because I don’t feel normal. i lost all my friends since I was hospitalized. I get frustrated because I’m not working (I’m focusing on school two more semesters until I graduate!) but it’s hard because I feel like I’m in between a rock and a hard place. And I know what’s hard for the ego is good for our growth but I guess I’m reaching out for prayer. For prayer and for healing. For grace and mercy, for god’s glory. For a miracle.

Sending you love and covering you in prayer, may the Lord bless you and keep you. Thank you for being vulnerable with what you faced, and for letting us in on your testimony in the making. You are heard, seen, loved, and cared for. Romans 8:28.
Take deep breaths and keep trusting in God, He’s with you in the midst of every storm. Let Him lead you through it all, and remember that worship is your weapon. When shame and trauma try to keep you bound, remember that the Lord loves who You are and He sees the best in you. You are not what you’ve done, you are who God called you to be. We’re ALL on the Potter’s wheel being molded by God, so these obstacles are opportunities to be refined.
I’ve been hospitalized too, and it’s one of the most life shaking experiences, but the Lord makes us whole. Keep your eyes on Jesus (: we got this and I thank the Lord in advance for the work He’s going to do through us to help others who experience it too❤
