Sonoma is always worth visiting if in San Francisco for a trip! It’s spectacular and gorgeous! Fabulous resorts and food! Of course fabulous vineyards too!!
You made my cloudy day sunny. No sound makes us happier than your voice. No sunset or vineyard can compare to your incredibly beautiful brown eyes. Make sure to see Napa. You made Sonoma awesome:)
Thank you so much 🥰We were in Napa the day before and I was torn between making a Sonoma video or a Napa wine train video because I love both trains and small towns.
I was born and raised in Sonoma, back in 1960. I grew up in a home on West Spain St., that my family still owns. We've always had tourists, but starting about 10 years ago, the tourists started acting like they owned the town. They try to park in places that they shouldn't, etc. After I retired from the Marines after 31 years, I moved into my grandparent's house on Arnold Dr. I and my family have been living in the Sonoma Valley going back seven generations, and my great grandpa was really good friends with Jack London and his wife Charmian. If you tourists really want to experience the REAL Sonoma, it's too late. A lot of the long time locals either moved out, or got priced out.... And to me, it's really sad to see just how much of a commercial tourist trap my hometown has become.... 😢
Thank you for sharing your story of Sonoma 🥰 While progress is inevitable in this beautiful place, I agree that tourists should be respectful especially to locals who lives there
Having lived n worked in Sonoma many years, I saw the invasion of tourists turn this quaint village into glitz You missed telling about the Bear Flag revolt on the square where a gang of drunken settlers proclaimed California free from Mexico Gundlach Bundshu a great getaway… the owners love Hornito Sauza tequila… been there several times - memory fails from imbibing too much of that elixer! Ig Vella cheese factory a whole lot better - their extra aged Jack is phenomenal
thanks for asking. Yes, I made a video about Temecula. If you search Temecula in youtube, maybe I'm on the first page. It was so nice over there and I really enjoy the vibes of wine county...
Oh really.. great share. I’m interested to find out where you got this info, I would like to explore on it. Meanwhile, I’ve read several articles that Sonoma is the birthplace of commercial and modern wine industry in California eg www.sonomacounty.com/articles/sonoma-valley-wine-region-and-appellation 🥰
