I have to tell you something Jon… I cannot believe how much I am learning from you. I’ve been an anti-war peace activist for over 55 years. I know nothing about munitions or ammunitions but every time I watch your coverage I learn something new. And as much as I am who I am I now actually do cheer when the brave and resourceful resistance fighters hit their targets. Something I never would’ve imagined in my lifetime but this situation is different and not only because my country is footing the bill and providing diplomatic cover. Sometimes I spend hours and hours watching all the resistance groups on Telegram because it gives me a perverse sense of justice if that’s what you want to call it. All of us wish this wasn’t happening but it is. I’ve lost half of my friends because of my strong opinion about this particular stage of the Palestinian peoples struggle which is something I could’ve never imagined. Even though we’re in the eighth month I still can’t believe this is real. I so appreciate all the reporting that everyone at this channel does. The few friends I have left that are on the same side as I am are following this channel now too as well as the ei website. All of you work so hard to bring us the truth. Personally I have no words to express my gratitude. In my heart you are all a part of my extended family and I love each and every one of you. Mad respect! Thank you! 🫡 🤍🇵🇸🤍
Goes to really show it's not about your big gear and tech. America. Isreal. It's about your resilience, your skill, and your sheer courage. Long live the resistance. Long live a free Palestine
Can you imagine how your ears are feeling even if your tank isn’t breached. I can’t see sitting in a metal box while having an explosion on the outside not blowing your ear drums. While I understand the situation it still saddens me to hear of the carnage. Maybe if we were allowed by our parents to see the full violence of war we would have so many of them and would give peace a chance.
Hamas has not taken POWs in Gaza since October 8th, right? If so, I haven't read about it and truly it makes me wonder why Israel would use Hanibal-killing its own people at this point.
It’s a blow to their society and an embarrassment that would backlash hard on the government. At a time when the people are already in the streets protesting, demanding negotiations for the release of the Oct 7th hostages and their state appears on the brink of self destruction. They’re doing all they can to hold it together now, as long as the pressure keeps up the state may well implode.
Two weeks ago, I was absolutely surprised to find out from a Jewish intellectual who used to be in the IDF that Israel is a huge weapons exporter. He mentioned that they supply to India and Azerbaijan. I knew about Azerbaijan but not India, thanks to this former IDF man. The Jewish intellectual then dropped a bombshell he said that "there is pressure on British, German and French governments to stop supplying weapons to Israel but little do the public know that Israel sells more weapons to these 3 countries than it buys from them." He went on to say,"It's a closely guarded secret. Not many people know about it." The intellectual went on to say that "to stop buying Israeli weapons is as effective if not more effective effective than selling weapons to them."
Jon mentions aspects of International law that the resistance follows. I wish he would occasionally mention how them wearing headbands, arm bands and I have even seen simply print screened T-shirts are also done to follow international law to differentiate them from noncombatants. Too many in the west think the headbands are something related to religion or mystical practices
First time this American has heard about headbands or t-shirts that distinguish the fighters. All we hear is how sad it is that so many civilians are dying because the soldiers can’t tell the fighters apart. It’s pure bs either way, they’ll use any excuse to deny or justify crimes they’ve already stated they’re committing outright. Thanks for the news flash!
