If you are hitting very well with the XTD but hit 2 inches out once in a while, just increase your string tension by 2 pounds. Your ideal string tension with one racquet will not be the same for all racquets.
Another great video! Glad you're intrigued by the Blackout. I remember suggesting(and probably a lot of other commenters) the Blackout way back in your very first testing video in the series. As the Blackout seemed to be the most similar to your original racket. Maybe try playing with the strings to pull back those ground strokes.
The sensation of feeling like it’s going out all the time but drops in is so relatable. I have the feeling with my vcore 95 all the time. It’s surprisingly powerful, I often feel like I sent it long, but the spin was just enough to have it drop in at the last second haha Also, if you feel like you’re barely spraying it, you could try it with control strings, might be enough to rein it in.
I love these videos, great job as always. I'd be semi-interested in having you test the lines of each frame from each manufacturer. Just to get your honesy opinions on them. Man, you weren't half crushing the ball with that blackout xtd. Sounds like a contender 👍
Those looked like rockets with the XTD. So easy and smooth. Especially with the forehand and your serve was a bomb. I am getting curious about this racket, because it looked like this is the racket for you. And about overhitting it a little bit...that can be adjusted with strings and getting used to it.
One of your best racquet videos so far and its clear that 300 XTD suits you. If you wanted to change the spin you could either change strings or alter the swingweight somewhat however I dont think how your hitting should deter you from putting that racquet in your final selection and even selecting it
Blackout 300 xtd is my racquet. If you can control the power with spin it is a dream racquet. Some defensive shots can be more tricky bc of the maneuverability, but that is a trade off I am willing to make.
Not familiar with their rackets, but I love my Hyper-G Soft strings. Very easy on ancient bones and also very easy to string with. Now if I could only get some new bionic legs.
It’s always responsive Poly, I might be switching strings as well. I’ll talk string once I select the racquet. ua-cam.com/video/hhZOYSIcoe4/v-deo.htmlsi=HbjeG0p9yJ1bGQli
One note is that you can add weighted but cap to the xtd to get back some of the maneuverability at minimum increase in weight that you would feel because it’s in your hand
Just to be clear, have you been using the exact same fresh strings and tension in all your racquet demos? P.S. I ordered the Super Smash you’ve been raving about for a long time, so I have high expectations! 😂 Ciao Cacao! 🎾 😜
Is it me Nik or was this your best hitting so far? I'm trying to recall, I remember the Diadem and the RF you were walloping the ball, but this just looked the most like your game.
Yo Nick‼️That racket plus your height is too OVERPOWERED‼️💯 That racket should just be for us little people. I'm 5'4, and that Solinco xtd is just right for me to even the playing field. But you're 6'5‼️That's overkill‼️💯🤣
I tried all those rackets and BlackOut XTD was amazing ua-cam.com/video/RZnjCJFxFVc/v-deo.htmlsi=tBOTgm-fs03Pm728 I know you want to try open patterns and didn’t want to try 18x20 but I tried the whiteout XTD 18x20 and it felt like an open 18x20 and I really really like that racket. Blackout if you’re just missing try a slightly different tension? Solinco makes great stuff
@MaksymGI interesting, what do you string the vcore with? I have a very sensitive elbow and coincidentally the racquet that is pain for me is my 2023 vcore 98 strung at 45 lbs with a full bed of multi
It’s a huge misconception that people believe that stiff rackets cause elbow pain. It’s actually visa versa. With soft rackets you have to swing harder which puts pressure on your joints. Stiff rackets demand good technique from a player though.
It is pleassure to watch your serves, Nikola. Great load you have, so natural. Your arm explodes so fast. Great technique. Your groundstrokes looks a bit off. Especially forehand, you hit it too much with arm, not enough body action. Your non hitting hand destabilize you to over rotate. You should have non hitting hand longer on the racket in loading phase. You should try having non hitting arm closer to the body with palm of the hand pointed into your chest, not your opponent after hitting the ball. This is so important, palm of the hand pointing into your chest, not to your opponent. That is one of secrets of Berretini's forehand.

I appreciate it. In 2022 there were many discussions about my forehand and what’s wrong with it. Couple of vids tons of comments. Here is one ua-cam.com/video/q-hjcuvgGRg/v-deo.htmlsi=1Ntb8HjTbrQdZuMk
@IntuitiveTennis You are hillarious, Nikola. "Billion balls" 😅 Man, I get you that you do not want to change and you feel like it is impossible, but you should and you can. Your forehand reminds of the one Medvedev has, terrible forehand. Tennis is the game which asks full awerness of the player, and best improvements can be made when you are older and understand the game better. As a kid you do not have that, you just hit the balls. Self improvement is the best improvement. Try little things like the ones I mentioned. It could make significant improvement. Eastern grip also would suit your style much better, but that is not easy to change. I would not be satisfied with your forehand. Cheers, man!
Whiteout Part on Saturday
(I know there’s a new version coming out, I’ll discuss once the video is live)
If you are hitting very well with the XTD but hit 2 inches out once in a while, just increase your string tension by 2 pounds. Your ideal string tension with one racquet will not be the same for all racquets.
True, that could fix it 💯
I think you nailed the format with this video. You played great with that blackout xtd too.
Thank you
“Too good, Milan” 😂
💯🙌
I gotta say, I love this series, man.
Appreciate it 🙏

Gotta try the Blackout XTD 28. It’s a phenomenal racquet and actually more controlled than the 27.5 (RA is a little lower).
Racquet testing of this sort is refreshing and love it.
🙏

Have the blackout 300 and it suits me well although I play better with the Ezone 98.

Thank you. Yes the issue is solvable for sure 💯
I knew you would like the blackout xtd! Of all the rackets I've hit, it was the most similar to the pure drive +
💯

Milan's down the line backhand is amazing
💯
Thanks for specifying the whiteout release date. Hopefully getting toward a final showdown
Hi, you should try a few Prince racquets, i like the Ripstick 300
4:53 you got me there 😂😂
Not familiar with their rackets, but I love my Hyper-G Soft strings. Very easy on ancient bones and also very easy to string with. Now if I could only get some new bionic legs.
Hyper g
Great string
Blackout XTD I believe, and increase the tension for 1-2lbs
💯
haha this was funny to watch. you were crushing the ball!
The racquet has pop 💯
@@IntuitiveTennis boom another winner .... "Milan was that out?" POW another winner... "Milan? that was out right?"
Yonex Ezone 98, power, control , maneuvrability and stability, nice video thanks
Thank you
Can you describe why you aren’t demoing with same strings across your testing? No mention of tension or string in these videos. Thanks!

I saw that yeah, cool feature
I just post again: give VOELKL a try as well. Great series!
Thank you
I had the Whiteout 305 18x20 and it gave me elbow pain so it had to go. Other than that I liked it.
That’s not good 😩
lets get it nickkkk!
🙌
This is a great series - but why are you always using different strings to test?
I’ll talk string once I select the racquet. I might switch strings ua-cam.com/video/hhZOYSIcoe4/v-deo.htmlsi=HbjeG0p9yJ1bGQli
Why don’t you try out the new pure drive 2025
I might
Just wondering why you decided not to demo the Blackout xtd+ 28 but you are demoing the Whiteout xtd+ 28?
Could not get the blackout XTD +
I would have tested it
It looked like you were hitting great with the Boom Pro, maybe try the Extreme Pro… it was the perfect step for my game!
Not sure if extreme will make the cut
Still think you should try the Prince Ripstick, 280g and 300g. Power frame with really good spin access and maneuverability.
Let’s see
Just to be clear, have you been using the exact same fresh strings and tension in all your racquet demos? P.S. I ordered the Super Smash you’ve been raving about for a long time, so I have high expectations! 😂 Ciao Cacao! 🎾 😜
I have not. Kirschbaum is fantastic, hope u used the code. Caio Cacao 💯🙌
Is it me Nik or was this your best hitting so far? I'm trying to recall, I remember the Diadem and the RF you were walloping the ball, but this just looked the most like your game.
Hard to say. Percept was best level for me but so tricky to judge.
I think you need to string your string of choice, super smash, 300xtd
Hyper G is good, used to play w it
What kind of surface is that?
Clay but green
Har-Tru, found often in south eastern US.
Har tru
If it feels great but the balls go out by an inch maybe all it takes is adding 1 lb to the string tension..
Could solve the issue, but sometimes it’s not that simple
Wait for the new pure drive 2025. You may not need to switch at all😅
I saw it 👀

John Isner at 6’10” earned millions.on the tour with a 28” frame so I disagree with your assertion.
I think you shouldn't hate on 18/20 raquets. You mistook the Precept for a different dimension. It was 18/20. You hit it well, thinking it's 16/19.
Maybe try the 18/20 if you like the raquet. 18/20 give you control!
That’s true
Head gravity tour 2025
Will consider that one
There's new Pure Drives coming out in January 2025 I believe...
💯
Just tighten the strings on the xd
💯

Nick played ok with them but the RA on these racquets looks like an elbow destroyer to me, pass
It is not always work like that. For example, vcore 98 62RA harts my hand more than TF tempo 298 Iga 71RA
@MaksymGI interesting, what do you string the vcore with? I have a very sensitive elbow and coincidentally the racquet that is pain for me is my 2023 vcore 98 strung at 45 lbs with a full bed of multi
