    My daughter is 37! We have been working on our relationship for years! Always have fun together!! Even painting her house together is fun to us!! She is a good friend cause I know I was a good friend when she was little! We played games, danced, went to parks, read books daily! So much fun! Best time in my life to have them in my experience here on earth! They still teach me to this day!

    This is so true. Parents should tell their kids that we are human too. We also make mistakes and you can too. Just be you. And see your children would start seeing you from different perspective.

    Well said Guruji...I loved the mu..mu...part..so true. We love wen they r infants n we play around with them n wen they slowly grow up as young boys We start our moral.policing...lose patience on them. Maybe in the current gen we as parents r too busy working n losing patience.

    I do agree with you, Sir Sanhguru. In my case I have a disrespectful son who didn’t like advices and disciplines he was influenced by his cousin and his friends. I started to pray and gave him space to explore but I have to be careful the way I talk to him he’s very sensitive. There’s a saying practice what you preach… As time went by he realized his mistakes that it’s only his mom who can help him whatever problem he had/has. He is now 30 years old, has a job and a place to stay. I still keep praying for him. The Bible says pray without ceasing.🙏😇❤️

    • @aparnabhatia5072
      @aparnabhatia5072 Рік тому

      I disagree, not to get rid of the child but to learn. We need some of these tools nowadays to learn.

    • @liliyalaughlin6021
      @liliyalaughlin6021 Рік тому

      Things you can learn on an iPad are very limited. Your child is not learning motor skills/fine motor skills as he would be with a pen and paper. No human interaction. The iPad does too much entertaining leaving no room for imagination. So the children grow up needing to be constantly entertained, without imagination, probably in poor health cause they sit too much, and with undeveloped fine motor skills cause they didn’t train all of the muscles in their hands, but instead just dragged a finger across the screen
      No thank you! I can teach my child myself instead of giving him a robot iPad

    • @aparnabhatia5072
      @aparnabhatia5072 Рік тому

      @Liliya Laughlin that was not the point I was making. I meant supervised learning. I am an English tutor, so I use an Android tablet, and the kid uses it for drawing. It is not meant to suppress their imagination or for entertainment but to use colors to create one image in their minds. These tech tools are created to supplement not meant for entertainment purposes alone. So, yes, I am thankful for having one to teach the kids. But I also take the kids to the park to explore nature and the colors and creatures present in nature. I like adopting a hybrid approach using traditional tools like pen, paper, books, and technology for learning. Not for entertainment but for learning because a tablet has so many features within it. If they want to hone those skills, they can do so and one day become a graphic designer or an artist.

    When my children come home from school having learned something I don't know about I always tell them: they are the house expect on this subject, and I defer to their knowledge on the subject. It usually make exploring the subject further together much more rewarding for us

    One day, when it was the fashion, my 15 year old son came home with a stud in each pierced ear. I noticed it alright but decided not to say anything. It was no fun for him, meaning I'm on same level, game for anything! After graduating and looking for first job he took it off.

Before even they feel bad..I know how to make them good..n let them be healthy n happy forever till end of time ..even after I am gone. We don't belong to their millennial or alpha gen. But at least close up the gap..my both kids are very different n we all are different.

    No single rule applies to all parents and kid combination. Each pair is different and unique. Some kids on admitting ignorance can overtake parents and treat them with disrespect and overlook advice and get into trouble. Some kids under stress might under perform. Some under control and stressed can out perform and behave well. What worked for you with your kid may not work for another kid. Its always parents that decide how to deal with their kids.. Each situation and family is unique. Its better not to advise on this to anyone. Let them do whats suitable for their circumstances and nature of their kids.

      I agree! I have six sons and they are all different. Each child has needed something different from me, some have been challenging and others have been easy going. Each individual need’s a unique love. Who said this parenting would be easy? It depends where you live also! I agree with some of his points but it’s not a one fits all approach, there’s a fine line between being a friend to your children and giving them the freedom to believe they have authority over you.

      I am 34 myself and became very sad and angry towards my mother this year.
      I love my mother but this is more a fact than a feeling. For me its often painfull to be with her. She gives me the feeling Im not good enough. Im practising to deal with this feelings now, so I can feel her love again and mine.

Thats a base of living I don't ever have to question. I don't have to read right and wrong into my living. I'm not wrong and you're not right. And the humans I've been created out of and the humans I create are not a side bar of my life. Ha. quite the opposite. No?

      Well said. We parents don't need the advice of people who were never prepared to be a parent (who wish that they were as young as their offsprings) if those parents made mistakes, then take responsibility to care for those mistakes, not become like them, meaning that, if you, (the parent) had no guidance, then your children will obviously grow up into becoming irresponsible parents to create more future irresponsible creatures,

    Dear Sir. I would like to disagree with you when you say parents wish that they were young and were born too early. When one becomes a mother, the only thing in her mind will be to protect her child. And from her own life's experiences, she will try to guide her child in the right direction. Or else they would become just like the monkeys whose mothers knew nothing because they belong to the jungle. We as parents should take the responsibility to guide our children in the right direction. Not leave them to do as they please.
