It is now renamed as Jewel Palm Beach. I have stayed there twice at the club level. I have nothing but good memories of the staff, facilities, and food. I would love to go back right away.
@bakeneko111 can I ask what room you have used? And what time of year you went? We have just booked this and when I see videos coming up like this from not that long ago, I'm starting to worry
This resort is like 28 yrs old and as of February is no longer a dreams.They are opening dreams flora right next to this one sometime this month.We stayed here in October 2022 and we had a blast.
What was the date of your stay? Going there in July but realize this review was for the old Dreams resort.. so I have doubts your review is relevant today.
Hi we were there November 2022. It was not really good but starting January of this year they are renovating so hopefully when you are there the rooms will be better.
@@warzone6308 they said they will start renovating January of this year so if you are going there in the next 6 mos i’m not sure if they will be done. I looked at the website regarding the changes of food selection since they change their name and it does not look even better than when it was under Dreams
@@jeztravel I had a reservation for April 16th, and yesterday they told me that the hotel in Bayahibe where we were going to stay is closed for renovations. They offered to transfer me to this hotel, but they did not give me any other options
@@warzone6308 ohh i don’t know. I mean the rooms are not good but the grounds still looks good. Service wise it was not good during my stay. But it might be good during your stay. Food wise it does not look good to me, I mean the selections.
I’m Dominican ok, but your in a island what do you expect Dominican Republic is not like the US it’s a island go see the city side like Santiago and go check how the country really his.

@@doodles3075 Rm3211 in July. Room I stayed in May had a big bathtub.
I got married at this resort in 2010 and it was amazing! It looks like it's called the Jewel now and it got the updates it needed!
Thanks for watching. It is showing its age it needs to be refurbished. I think they are doing it right now. Hopefully it will be as good as before.

There are TWO Jewel properties. Jewel Palm Beach (old Dreams Palm Beach) which just opened and Jewel Punta Cana. (old Dreams Punta Cana)
