It is against business Competition Laws.
Soon, Visa Mastercard n other networks will have same UPI on CC facility also for their credit cards.
RBI has only proposed this interoperability of card networks. It is not a final notification from RBI yet. So today, a user cant ask for change in card network.
I think you are not aware you can ask to change your card from visa to Rupay card I also changed and using from last 2 months

I have a question regarding Rupay upi
I am a user of hdfc master card since 5 years in March 2023 I got a message from hdfc to apply for virtual Rupay upi card with credit sharing with master card.
But last months that is October 2023 a new credit card was opened in my name by the bank (according to Cirf score ) which reduced my credit score…
So my question is
1. If hdfc is giving me a limit of 100k for both cards together then why are they showing 2 different credit cards with 100k each on my cirf account???
2. Also if I am using the card since March 2023 then why did it open a new credit line in my name now ?

I think UPI worked because merchant were not charged anything, if they are not charged than who is giving these 1-2% cashback. I am sure banks are not funding this. Whats the loophole here?
Hey milady, don't you think promoting credit cards is not something you should do as a finfluencer because credit card is a trap where majority do not pay on time and default (most Indians lack financial literacy!), means big money for the service provider.
