As a member of AA, I really wanted to encourage any and all AA members to pursue meditation. According to Wikipedia, meditation is "The practice of training of the mind..." IE. If you do it a couple of times and stop, it is not meditation. IT MUST BE PRACTISED for it to be meditation. For me, this is when my channel gets "tuned in". Prayer may be talking to God, but meditation is listening to God. Actually, prayer without meditation is what all the worlds religions do, and look where that has gotten us. For me, the 11th step does not say "prayer or meditation", meditation is part of the 12 steps. I couldn't find anywhere in the literature where it says meditation was optional. It took me three years of trying different meditations to find the one I use now, and I really want to encourage all to go, be adventurous, explore, make mistakes and learn in the greatest untapped resource of the 12 steps.

This was exactly what I needed. I was struggling with my own interpretation of god and through this video I finally found it! I finally have the understanding (or at least Ive started to find my understanding) of what “god” is. To me personally, it’s not this image of a man in the sky. It’s much more subliminal and I don’t imagine a face or the body of a man when I think about it. Anyway thanks so much for the video.
With God as the light and king of the church using a spiritual program and belief that we can travel the road of life and even as addicts and alcoholic society can be forgiven for our sins and find a way home

I have been told the woman travels extensively, moderating and leading workshops in America. I have always wanted to have her name and contact information. I am 34 years clean and sober. This meditation has given me the gift of daily prayer and meditation for the past 5 years, something I struggled with always. This year I had unexpected open heart surgery, which took over my physical life for the past 5 months and made meditation impossible. I am slowly moving back into a spiritual life, finally able to return to meetings and just today, with this wonderful meditation, started today meditation. Extreme gratitude to the person posting this and to the person leading the meditation. Thank you.
