I think there is usually some sawhorse movement that go with these types of boots/outsoles. You’ll wear them down and in. What type of work do you do? I might have missed it, but in boot videos I think it’s important to supply that context especially with serious work boots like these. Good luck with them! Beautiful boots!

Yeah, I get that the sawhorse motion is normal with handmade boots. However, this just seemed to me much more pronounced than I’ve seen before. I do residential and commercial termite/pest control. To be more specific, I strictly work in Sedona, AZ. So the terrain I’m on is severely uneven all day, everyday.

@ that sucks with $600 dollar boots. Yeah it would bother me a bit.

I’ve got a pair of black wax flesh boots from Nicks and their absolutely phenomenal I love em, I’ve had them for going on 8 months now and been wearing them just about every day, I usually condition them once every month just because I work out in the elements and they still look really good almost new, they were expensive so I do try and clean or brush them daily, great video 👍

That’s awesome! They seem to be really well made boots (other than my minor issues). The double heel tap, actually did start to dissipate today when walking on concrete, or other harder surfaces. So, these and my Drews are gonna be my daily workers. Just rotate them every week. And thank you so much!

@ am thinking that you probably need more time wearing your boots to get rid of the heel rocking, maybe give it a few months and see if that works

@ That’s what I was thinking. People on the Reddit post only said “give it some time”… So, the amount of time is unclear. But I am noticing that it’s slowly going away, I’ve started to feel it less and less.
