I haven't engaged with BTD or battles content in like 1.5 years but if matchmaking and HOM rankings are anything like they were then, number 1 is only about 50% skill and 50% luck. Like, you need to be a damn good player to get it, but you don't have to be one of the best, nor does being the best ensure you'll get #1

Not really any need tbh since towers in btd6 don't have to stand on their own merits anywhere near as much as btdb2 towers do. That's why farm methods are massively simplified and buffed (larger amounts, dependencies on farms removed where applicable, cheaper to buy). Expecting two towers to rely on each other massively reduces how much players can experiment and mix and match

But again battles 2 has its own hero and importing it to btd6 would be hard since its designed to sabotage your opponent. The village rework was just done so you dont have to bring village and farm to make monkeyopolis
