It looks great but one thing i think would look better is if some of the AA was shooting, or pointing towards the fire. Some people would also look great
@@nissmoguy Not only were there no American casualties, but the only damage the ship actually suffered was a small dent in the hull right below the deck where the plane impacted. That ship was built to survive literally everything. The dent's still there today, if you ever go to Hawaii and visit the ship.
Builder, designer, detailer, fabricator, painter, sculptor...just some of Ebroins many talents. These models are timeless treasures for generations to come...
Wow...just wow! The zero wing flying out of the explosion...the debris splashes...the ship model...this diarama is awesome. I have this model and the flyhawk pe. Not sure I can do it justice now but will try harder thanks to your inspiring videos. Thanks 😊
I was stationed aboard the Missouri from 1990-1992 when it Decommissioned for the third time in it's history. We all got the tour, showing us the dent made by the Kamikaze. There were no plans on repairing it, just to show the strength and resilience of the US Navy. This was my second of four ships that I was stationed on and remains, to this day, my favorite ship ever. Thank you for doing this. GREAT job.
He scratched the paint of the USS Missouri and the crew of Missouri suffered no casualties. That's one of the reasons why the CO, Bill Callaghan (brother of Daniel Callaghan, a hero of the Guadalcanal Naval Battles), felt generous enough to give him a burial at sea. If any of their shipmates were casualties or killed, I'm not sure the crew and its chiefs wouldn't have just stripped the corpse for intel and summarily thrown it overboard right there.
Speaking as a museum artist, those are fantastic techniques, all of them. The wet-wipe solution for the sea surface is especially cool. I assume you isolate the ship in a Plexiglass (Perspex) box to keep dust off the finished model.
The WoWS music fit really well. Nice job, the diorama looks amazing. How you managed to make such a convincing explosion is beyond me and shows someone who has mastered their craft
Amazing build. My wife and I visited Pearl Harbor on September 6, 2021 and while touring the USS MISSOURI were told the story of the young Japanese kamikaze pilot depicted in your diorama. We saw the damage to the ship where his plane hit and was told of how he was respectfully buried at sea. It was an emotional experience that I will never forget.
i swear to god, i keep thinking to myself "where is this going?" and then just a few minutes later, i see where it was going and am just stunned. the explosion is a good example of that...
I used to do these things many years ago, but certainly not at this level, but I can appreciate how much talent and hours of making models and dioramas it takes to reach this level. It's very satisfying to see what a master at your level can create. Thanks for sharing!
It is interesting seeing the small dent the Zero left on the ship. At the edge of the deck, so minimal that it was never repaired. This is a beautiful diorama of the event.
Even as a person who lives in the USA and likes the Iowa class this is just mind blowing and show me what it might of look like when the USS Missouri got hit by a Zero
And I used to think Peter Purves, Valerie Singleton and John Noakes making a Yuletide lantern with coat hangers, toilet roll holders and bottle tops was clever! Regarding the explosion you made, I'd never have had the courage to begin putting colour onto the cotton wool, absolutely bloody amazing work yet again! _For those who don't know, Peter Purves, Valerie Singleton and John Noakes were presenters of children's show called Blue Peter which I used to watch in the seventies._
I used LEDs to light the gun deck of my second Old Ironsides 36" model to show the 2 weeks work I had put in it. This is a entirely new level I never thought of them in explosions. Magnificent!
This diorama is just perfection, any of my smaller ones I make with resin but my larger Musashi one will take clay since it would be expensive (just need to learn to airbrush a bit better)
Masterful work recreating a Kamikaze attack. Complete realism in the water effects. The explosion with all its debris is simply fantastic. Love the broken wing flying through the air. Not to mention the amazing job you did on the ship model. Museum quality display. Bravo!!!!!! Bill
Dude, that is one sick-ass USS Missouri diorama! Your attention to detail and realism make this one of the coolest and best dioramas I've ever seen built. You have wicked skills bro, your craftsmanship is truly legendary. That shit is dope son! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
Wow, that is so realistic! I wonder what must have gone trough the had of the pilot minutes or seconds before the impact. Was he proud, thought about his family? For a European it is hard to understand.
Well I was looking for a technique to make foam more realistic, I think I found it. Thanks for all your vid Ebroin, you are an inspiration and a bloody master.
You are really good. I am a old man of 60yrs old and you have taught me a lot in this video. Really good and the detail is sweet. You are good. Teach me more
An excellent diorama, just watching the explosion makes your mine work fast in all the factors involved during the explosion. Really gives you a solid impression
Every time you release a new video I think wow, the best yet. Then you release this and I am completely in awe of you ability, techniques and the vision you have. To bring it all together in such a fashion is not only a work of art but a display of craftsmanship unmatched
Your approach on how doing things is so unique! Being a top artist helps you a lot on doing the technical stuff, for sure. I know I'm becoming boring but, you are the best! Nothing that I have seen in my whole life beats what you are able to do, Mr. Song! You have my deepest respect, not only for your work but for the courage to do your passion as a way of living. Greetings from Brazil!
I found your diorama while looking for other dioramas. I love ww2 dioramas and this one did not disappoint. Your techniques were very clever in how you used cotton in making the waves more 3D. I really thought the use of the handiwipes were a wonderful way to create texture of the water. The explosion is what amazed me, and how the creation of debris fallingwas brilliant. My lady, you are fantastic.
Missouri-class is cool! I like Japanese battle ships, but I like American battle ships too. Especially,Cleveland-class light cruiser is best of one!🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸
I’m not into miniatures and war ships but wow this is absolutely gorgeous and so realistic you have amazing talent my friend I must say most people can’t do something like this (I’m one of those people) absolutely stunning and I enjoyed watching u create this the entire time my mouth was hanging open in disbelief at how realistic u made it just speechless
That was actually pretty impressive the way you illustrated that explosion.. one of the best I have seen onYT as the color grading and proportion is so difficult to match with an aspect of make belive.... well done channelholder..
After finishing Tirpitz do you know a major big project you would like to do like a 1/350 super detailed Nagato or something? I would suggest doing a aircraft carrier or the battleship North Carolina
Ebroin, again sir such spectacular work. I always look forward to seeing the next build, you do such amazing work. Cant wait to see what's next. Awesome! From Jacksonville, Florida.
I watch diorama videos a lot, this is one the best videos and end result I have seen. Absolute amazing detail. I’m astounded at the fact this looks absolutely real. Amazing job, you are very talented and creative. Subscribed 😁

i hope everyone was ok after the kamakize attack
According to my reference, there was no casualties, except for the Kamikaze pilot.

There are thousands of dioramas with water, many with explosions too, but this explosion is by far the most realistic I have seen. Well done!

I'm sorry, that is hands down the best explosion I've ever seen ,in over 30years of being in this hobby .well done 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
We've all seen "explosions" in models... This is the first time I looked real to me. 10/10 work.
The one dislike was the kamikaze pilot.... 😉 Probably the only thing missing is 1/700 crew. Scratch built of course! Cheers 👍👍👍
If I were him I would be very proud.

Agree. In love with the first song. Sounds like Heilung. Can't find it anywhere though. Do you know the name?

Freaking amazing diorama work once again. Honestly, just doing a waterline diorama is good enough already, but now you took it to another level
I've actually been on the Missouri. They've got the spot she was hit on display. It's cool.
I wish I could have been on USS Missouri one day.
@@EbroinSong it’s docked in pearl harbour Honolulu hi, hopefully some day u can vacation there
