Actually, Jeritza von Hrym is listed in the game. That’s the name he uses in Crimson Flower when he’s on your team. His birth name (which is never officially listed in the game) would be Emile von Bartels. We know his father was Baron Bartels, and since he was originally from Imperial nobility, he would have “von” in his last name (seeing as the Empire seems to follow German/Austrian naming customs). As far as characters with real names go, we still don’t know the real names of Yuri and Hapi.
Its believed that it was originally planned that when given the option of either storming Enbarr or reclaiming Fhirdiad, that a split route would be started and that Annette and Felix would defect if the wrong route was taken (its assumed that Enbarr is where they would defect but that obviously cant be proven without developer input). The reasons for why both defect arent necessarily clear either, but its assumed that Annette does it out of loyalty to her mother and homeland than a mad king. As for Felix, he does love his father. He just can't stand his undying loyalty to the king and his ideals regarding death and knightlyhood.
Something to clarify; it was because the NDA first and foremost about why Chris was removed. The abuse allegations may have had an impact but that's speculation
Also, it's really too bad those Group Activities were cut. I do like the Monastery segments but to an extent I do agree that it lacks variety and gets very repetitive. It could have benefited from having more activities to do to spice things up.
I don't think Felix betrayed only because of his father's death because in the first line he sounds like he's confirming with Dimitri that his father is now dead, as though Felix had heard it second hand rather than having been there. So either Felix defected before that or he was missing during his father's death map and then defected.
Oddly enough, we found out Chris Niosi originally played Male Byleth when the lords and both genders of Byleth were added to Fire Emblem Heroes (the mobile spinoff) through a data mine a couple days after the announcement trailer. Female Byleth and the lords were on the debut banner while Male Byleth was a free unit for those who bought 3H and linked their Nintendo accounts with FEH and 3H, Male Byleth then appeared on a “legendary banner” sometime later. Shortly after we found out who Male Byleth was played by, Niosi came out about his controversy, and then Nintendo stated shortly after the game was released Male Byleth’s VA would be updated. Sometime after the 3H banner dropped we got a mini trailer for Male Byleth properly introducing him into FEH, and that’s when we found out who his new VA was Zach Aguilar. Following that trailer Aguilar announced on Twitter he would be playing the role of Male Byleth.
Cornelia actually has her full name revealed in the game too. I forget which chapter and which routes exactly, but talking to Hanneman will have him not only reveal Cornelia's full name, but also give some brief background (she was a brilliant researcher back in Adrestia, but had left for Faerghus around the time Hanneman left for the Monastery)
I believe it's also revealed in the monastery library? Been awhile since I read the books in there, but im pretty sure there's one that details Cornelia's miracles, and also states her full name. Or im wrong, and completely misremembering, which is quite likely.
Ooooo I was hoping Yuri’s actual name would be revealed. Could it possibly be one of the names in that listed that was mentioned? Also it’s interesting that Kupala, one of the places that could be traded with, is mentioned by Balthus as his mother’s home town/country. Great video!
I saw something on Twitter from SerenesForest that talks about combined seals and classes. I assume that’s a similar thing to the composite classes mentioned in this video. Classes like Mortal Savant and Holy Knight were called Combined Classes in the North America artbook, while classes like Wyvern Lord were listed as Master Classes. They assumed that Combined Classes were scrapped in development and some classes were kept as Master Classes.
Damn. I'm glad I got to hear that Bernadetta support before they changed it. That detail is such a crucial part of explaining her situation and, in return, her character. Yes it's dark as hell, but it's important information and makes her more sympathetic.
It honestly really bothered me that they changed it. As someone who's been through similar things it sorta made me feel better and made me relate to her more, seeing it go made me pretty sad.
@@bernadettavarley Indeed. Its too bad that some people may not get to know the character as well. While it may be true that the line wasn't directly stated in the original Japanese translation, its pretty clearly implied that such an abusive past is what led her to become what she is.

Jett Lucas Hayes doesn’t silver snow do the exact same thing? Even then, if they were to implement the betrayal into the game, they should make him recruitable, especially since Dimitri goes through some growth post rodrigue
@@tigerking3297 Something kinda similar to how Kaze worked (with actual good story reasons)? I would be down too, though that map might be pretty rough if you heavily invested in Felix/Annette. I could see both leaving Dimitri after what he becomes, so it would be really neat to see that play out.
Yeah, but in Silver Snow, you’re given Seteth, Shamir (if you haven’t recruited her yet), Catherine and Cyril (and you keep Flayn). I think Cyril even got a buff to his stats cause he was an actual beast in my Silver Snow route.
I could imagine Annette leaving because of her uncle, but I can’t imagine Felix doing that. Especially knowing that cornelia is a traitor, and he didn’t believe in chivalry. The only reason I could see Felix doing that would be out of spite, and he wouldn’t do that.
Honestly i think the betrayals were either going to be fully recruitable again like ashe or lorenz out of their routes or it was a cut route split likely cut because it would be even less fleshed out than the be ones.
I find it interesting that there are full names of characters hidden in the data, but only those who actually make a physical appearance in some form in the game. Aside from the fact that we didn't find out Claude's real name is Khalid until an interview, I kind of find it a little disappointing we may never know what the full names of characters like Glenn and Holst were. Those two in particular are mentioned frequently but never make an actual appearance (I know Glenn is dead by the point of the game, but he's not even seen in any flashbacks), and sometimes I do wonder what their full names are. I think Holst and Glenn definitely have middle names given they are (or were) members of noble bloodlines (though it's definitely not von for either of them since Kingdom nobility and House Goneril don't use von), and part of me wonders what their middle names are. It's something that I find interesting to speculate about.
Damn, Felix and Annette betraying you. That would have been so interesting, I kind of wish it happened, but at the same time, Felix and Annette are always some of my strongest characters so I'm also glad they didn't do that in the end.
If they took Annette form me I wouldn’t of been pissed because in my first play through I married her and I knew I was going too pretty early on. And also somehow she carried my team in maddening (not including Dimitri he also did that but better)
5:58 Actually, this shot is used in the opening cutscene of the game during that ethereal warp through time transition between Seiros's battle with Nemesis and child Sothis's appearance. It's a pain in the ass to spot, but its there. Also, is it just me or is that shot kinda unsettling? Maybe it's because we don't see adult Sothis outside of the Mural depicting her along with The Immaculate One and the Four Saints, but its almost creepy.
Annette betrayal kinda make sense since she don't show up in Gd as enemy unit because she stay with her uncle and for felix maybe he follow annette if they have a b support lvl or something
An alternative for the Annette and Felix betrayal could be done similar to what is done with Jill in PoR. If they have enough supports unlocked, they stay with the army. Alternatively, they could have pulled a situation from the other routes where, if they fight Byleth and survive the round of combat, they can be re-recruited upon defeat with the whole spare or kill choice.
actually, the ones where Annette and Felix appear as enemy units are actually when you unlock the Edelgard route of the black eagles and you go with her and if you didnt get both Annette and Felix in time in part one they will be enemy units fighting against you at least minus the one where felix wanting revenge but all of the others are actually in the game in the Crimson Flower route of course i could be wrong because i always get Annette and Felix into my house during the black Eagle playthrough
I wouldn't say Felix was portrayed as hating his father so much as disagreeing with him. But yes, it was certainly a bit out of character for him to defect due to his father's death. But it would also be believable if they wrote it well enough.
The BL Annette & Felix were probably paralogues just like Dedue's. The most interesting 1 would've been Felix's since it would've been an amazing opportunity to develop both Felix & Dimitri's relationship after Rodrigue's death. I'd imagine the paralogue description being "defeat Felix to recruit him again into your army" or if you don't do the paralogue you lose him forever like Dedue. Annette is probably because of her father-uncle-mother antics. The devs already confirmed in their latest interview that they planned the split only for BE path because of Edelgard's role in the story. So no BL never was planned to have a route split, since it makes no sense, not in the story or gameplay.

I don't think two cut betrayals is enough evidence to indicate a route split. What would the other route have been about, anyways? I can see the order of chapters and story events getting altered, but the plot would be mostly the same. And if the split would occur in the choice between prioritizing Enbarr or Fhirdiad and trigger Felix and Annette leaving your party, then there'd be no reason to pick the split. After all, why would anyone go with the choice that causes them to *lose* 2 characters they spent a lot of time tutoring and training, without getting anything in return?

Something to clarify; it was because the NDA first and foremost about why Chris was removed. The abuse allegations may have had an impact but that's speculation

Lyndis S. Should’ve been used in Crimson Flower
*p r e p a r e y o u r s e l f , y o u d a m n b o a r !*
Should have kept birthday parties.
Might be because of how he hates what Dmitri has become. In CF he joins you because of that very reason.
Tbh, Aguilar was a way better choice even strictly by VA ability standards
I'm glad Felix and Annette didn't end up betraying me. Though i think a lot of shippers would love this new info about them
Cornelia actually has her full name revealed in the game too.
6:02 The image with Sothis is used in the montage of different eras of time after Lady Seiros kills Nemesis.
Oh my, this is very interesting
Bro how would anyone notice that when that appears for literally half a second.
@@skazka3789 I did catch a glimpse of it but the hue and color was off, so I couldn't make it out that it was Adult Sothis there.
when does that montage play in the game?
@@vinsthymia Right after the opening cutscene.
Felix betraying you to avenge his Father and the guilt over losing Glenn would have added so much more depth to him
Ooooo I was hoping Yuri’s actual name would be revealed. Could it possibly be one of the names in that listed that was mentioned?
Also it’s interesting that Kupala, one of the places that could be traded with, is mentioned by Balthus as his mother’s home town/country.
Great video!
Some people suggested him being or being a relative Leon of valentia.
Seeing Petra use magic and the angis shield scares me
I saw something on Twitter from SerenesForest that talks about combined seals and classes.
They probably decided to put the combined classes under the 'Master Class' banner so as to not confuse the player.
So azure moon was originally supposed to be more depressing?
I thought Birthright was depressing....What am I truly getting myself into...?
Honestly I wished they added Rhea as a playable character. :c
Sweet Brew Honestly that one crucial detail is what makes her go from “just another shy anime girl” to a really interesting and sad character.
@@maanokay2553 At least we know it's there, even if they updated it out we still _know_ it's there.
@@bernadettavarley Indeed. Its too bad that some people may not get to know the character as well. While it may be true that the line wasn't directly stated in the original Japanese translation, its pretty clearly implied that such an abusive past is what led her to become what she is.
It's funny that they change that but they still haven't fixed "fives years ago"

10:50 huh, Bernadetta and Petra’s support chain actually references the food gathering task, I was actually wondering about that.
Felix’s “no need for chitchat, come at me!” Is used in crimson flower, though...
3:41 just saying closer to the original doesn't always make it better. Imo adding submissive makes me feel even worse. He was training her to be a wife who neve questions and does everything that her husband tells her to do. Being a good wife and being a good submissive wife are entirely different
I wish they kept the Felix betrayal at least, it would’ve made blue lions much more interesting
Jett Lucas Hayes doesn’t silver snow do the exact same thing? Even then, if they were to implement the betrayal into the game, they should make him recruitable, especially since Dimitri goes through some growth post rodrigue
As long as I could get him back if I have a high enough support level, I'd be down.
"There are no leftover items in the data"
*Laughs in Dark Blutgang and Ridill*
Apologies for the terrible audio quality. It's a work in progress...
Honestly i think the betrayals were either going to be fully recruitable again like ashe or lorenz out of their routes or it was a cut route split likely cut because it would be even less fleshed out than the be ones.
Actually Jeritza's full name is included thanks to the DLC.
I COULD OF FISH WITH FLAYN, LINHARDT, AND SETHET!!!?
That line of Felix after hearing Dimitri killed his father had such emotion in it! It was such a change for his character that I wish was left in
I heard "claude is an alien" instead of alias
“Zanadooo” yeah idk about that one lmao
Those betrayals would’ve been so good in the original!
11:30 Hyrule warriors and fire emblem warriors were made by koei tecmo, KT also helped out on three houses and all three use the same same game engine
I appreciate the spoiler warning! CLICKED that instead, since I haven't done all routes yet.
Annette betrayal kinda make sense since she don't show up in Gd as enemy unit because she stay with her uncle and for felix maybe he follow annette if they have a b support lvl or something
Seriously, why need more content of Three Houses in the future!
I’m REAL happy Annette didn’t betray me in my BL run.
My heart would die.
Huh?
So you could be betrayed
So what I’m hearing is Felix and Annette are canon🤷🏻♀️
Could we get to know some of the names?
They could be future dlc characters.
The link is in the description as one of my sources, under "information", along with other things i didn't have time to mention.
@@Vthepizzaboy I just felt like mentioning this but alot of these names are german and since a few of the actual students that made it in the game have german names (Hilda, Leonie, Edelgard...) it's safe to say that some of these names were planned to be students that didn't make it in, or beta names for students.
However I expect some of these names to be nabatean as they are quite unique.
(Also one of the names is Feld which is literaly the german word for field lol)

Also I don't think there are many Heldas under the age of 60.)
And yes english is germanic.
It has a lot of simillar words actualy.

It’s my first time hearing Mercie vs Anette and fuck that dialogue broke my heart. If you recruit Annette, it’s IMPERATIVE you recruit Mercie also.

"TOTALLY STRAIGHT AND NOT GAY ADVENTURES, FOUR AND FIVE."
I-
I'm still confused on why Annette would betray you in AZ
dimitri a a-hole that route
Her reason is brought to light in her paralogue. She grew up with her mother and uncle, and would be perfectly justified to return home once Garreg Mach fell. Not only that, but she opposed Dimitri's war plans as well, being one of the main advocates for recapturing Fhirdiad rather than pursuing Enbarr
I understand why Annette would, but not Felix.
@@gabbycraft7035 that's pretty easy though, Felix has hated the way Dimitri was changing and becoming a "boar" who kills without second thought so it seems like he'd just be too fed up with Dimitri to stay any longer, though I assume he'd have left before Rodrigue's death because of the line "So he's dead then?" I also assume this may be if you failed do so his paralogue, he would defect or something
JustAregular Dude Yeah but to join with a traitor, though... He searched for Dimitri for 5 years and for him to just up and leave?
Besides, in CF when you make him right Dimitri, he doesn’t seem like he really wants to do it.
Are you talking about church route? lol
@@amelialoo3108 All the people saying that the cut Felix and Annette betrayals in AM are somehow evidence that there was gonna be a route split in the blue lions route. Even though there has been nothing else indicating that.
@@garyconstanza3120 Oh... I was aware of that. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. English isn't my first language. I was commenting about your line that mentions nobody would choose a route that causes them to lose 2 characters, so I found it funny because that happens in the church route. I personally find this route's plot great, but it makes you lose your 2 strongest characters. By the way, thanks for taking your time to try to explain it to me.
I figure it was probably just one chapter or paralogue where they betray you, but they rejoin afterwards? It would have been cool, but still weird, which is probably why it got cut.

Hey, I have a question, I´m playing in hard mode, and I´m at the battle of the Eagle ad Lion and I couldn´t recruit anyone yet... Is that a bad sign?
That's actually pretty normal for a first-time playthrough. The game is built assuming the player doesn't have any other units besides the ones they have in the class they chose. You can talk to some of the adults like Katherine or Manuela and recruit them if you're worried.
@@Vthepizzaboy no, this would be the fourth time I play it actually, but the very first time I played it I already had Petra (who I want to recruit the most) by that point, and it's a new account so it is not NG+

Not really. There first time I played three houses in didn't recruit anyone until right before the timeskip, and the ones I did recruit were unplanned (except Dorothea) and were basically there because some students didn't end up that great or I didn't have many other characters.
